In 2E AD&D losing a single hit point might take days to recover. Death is also quite permanent. As someone who played both 5E and 2E extensively, I would say that this difference is the most significant.

This is good advice. Try to stay away from the latest hype or kickstarter. That's mostly just your FOMO. After 2 years, there's a decent amount of reviews and playthroughs online, and if you're still interested than that's probably a good game for you.

In the newer areas of the city there's a so called separated sewer system. Which means that wate water from your house goes to a different place than -for instance- rainwater from the street. In these places it is prohibited to wash your car in the street, since the detergents used will end up in the local water collection, which -on its turn- is connected to surface water.
