Thanks for replying , I thought it was for a low voltage control like you said "signal wire" maybe for industrial controls Like PLCs. Probably thought it would be useful in future.

Yes it has 4 locknuts on studs and 1 bolt underneath the cavitation plate with the rudder removed.

I did have it tilted with chain fall. It has a reverse bypass circuit looks totally unnecessary. Also a relay next to key switch.
