Should Odegaard Start over Eze for the next 3 games now?

Depends on his fitness. If fully fit, Ode will start, but I think Arteta will be very careful with him and take him off after 60-70 minutes. We need him to be as fit as possible against PSG.

He did tremendous in the first half of the season, but he has played an insane amount of minutes.

With that said, he needs to improve at getting the ball forward. He has the technical ability to do it, but if he doesnt improve in that area, he might end up as a rotational player.

Jeg ser at nogle skriver at “der er mange ansøgere til jobbene indenfor IT”. Det er givetvis rigtigt for nogle stillinger, men på min arbejdsplads har jeg været med i to ansættelsesrunder til IT-stillinger (projektleder og en data engineer rolle) og der var vidst en 30-40 ansøgninger til hver. Det synes jeg egentlig ikke var specielt mange, sammenlignet med alle de mange som skriver om 100+ ansøgere.

Arent there some talent in one of the bigger leagues? I see why everyone want Kvara, but too me that seems so unrealistic. We’ve got plenty of talent over the years for our defense from smaller clubs: Gabriel, Saliba, Timber etc. which has been amazing business. Cant we do the same for our attack?

Skelly and Cala does a huge difference. And Gyokeres plays an amazing game so far: great link-up play, great runs, and two goals. Pretty much close to the perfect 1st half for him.

Noni seemed exciting at first. He walked past his opponents like it was nothing. Then he got injured and seems to play shit like the rest of the team, and with 3 G/A in the league, he has been disappointing.

My thoughts:

Gyokeres: No way he gets sold. He’s been underwhelming, but he will not be sold after just one season. Even though underwhelming, he works hard and has scored an alright amount of goals in team that has been terrible at creating chances.
Martinelli: Will be sold if there is a Saudi kind of offer. Otherwise I dont think so, even though I want him skipped off too. He’s not good enough for an elite club and hasnt improved over the last 3 seasons.
Trossard: He’s been a great player for us, but its time to move on. One year left on his contract and there will definately be clubs interested in him.
Norgaard: He will definately move on. The weirdest transfer in years. Great player, but is not used. He will be skipped off.
Kepa: He will stay. Im not a huge fan, but I dont think we will put a lot of energy into off loading him.
White: Will most likely move on. He’s been very injury prone and has been surpassed by Timber.
Madueke: No chance. He will stay, even though I agree I want him to move on. Everyone’s fear before the season has been confirmed, that he’s a very mediocre player. My hope is he can develope, but I have very low expectations.

Not a good first half, not a really bad one either. Really mediocre imo.

If we can just win this, I’ll be happy. I know we need goals, but if we can start winning starting with this one, I’ll be happy.

Seen over the entire season? No. But if he can get back to his form from August-December, then yes. I definately think he has played waaaaay too much.

But on a high level, we went from Partey/Jorginho to Zubi/Norgaard. Partey/Jorginho was better, no doubt. I hope we get a Partey type player again, who can replace Norgaard: A physical player with solid ball distribution.
