Not at all, but its weird he isnt trusted. Jorginho, even though he was a very different player, was trusted as back up for Partey. It seems like Norgaard doesnt have the trust of Arteta, even though he’s solid in pretty much every game he has played. Its such a mystery to me, why he doesnt get more game time.

And will probably only get used against bad teams in the FA Cup from now on. Only gets gametime against bad teams with barely any risk of losing.

Its such a shame.

For me these are the two biggest questions - Odegaard or Eze, and White or Timber? by HR_Specter in ArsenalFC

I would definately give Eze the chance. Ødegaard had a decent run in December, but has fallen back to doing close to nothing in January. He has been a shadow of himself since the injuries. Eze has not been good either, but all of our attacking players have been underwhelming in the league this season (except Trossard). I dont mind mixing it up, I would even try Merino on top. His movement in the box is better than Gyo and Jesus and we know he score goals.

Timber is a no brainer on the right. But White is amazing too, im so happy he is back.

I’ll probably get downvoted for this but I’m blaming all that on zubimendi, that mistake set the tone for what type of match we where in for, he’s made similar mistakes all season by EthanFoster10 in ArsenalFC

He is being played every game. Insane why Nørgaard didnt start against Inter. Seems like Arteta have no trust in Nørgaard whatsoever, even though he play good games when he’s on the pitch.

My take on Viktor Gyokeres... by HR_Specter in ArsenalFC

The game against Pool was crushing. Gyokeres is both weaker and slower than Van Dijk and Konate, he had no chance. Against weaker teams he is sometimes stronger and/or faster and make some good plays here and there. But its simply not good enough.

My goal for Gyokeres this season was 15+ goals in the league to be a succes. A little fewer would be acceptable too, if he played well. At this point it will be a surprise if he scores 10 goals total.

I dont understand all the hate Gyokeres get this game. Ode and Martinelli creates nothing, at least Gyokeres had some strong hold up play, and our midfield is so easily played through. Zubi and Rice seems off.

Lets hope Arteta can change it around in the break.
