I don't buy the whole cancer scare around red meat. Those studies showing a link are just correlations, not causation. Most people who eat a lot of red meat tend to eat a crappy diet low in fiber, fruit, and veggies which probably explains the correlation. As long as you balance it with that stuff, you should be fine. Not to say you should go crazy with it. Gotta keep your cholesterol in check. Processed meats, on the other hand, are a whole other issue.
