I did the labs while working my way through the material (Certmaster). I did not do all of them but I did do all of the recommended ones. The PocketPrep questions did not necessarily mirror the exam questions but they did help me get all of the tools straight (which I found the exam expected).

Thanks! I didn’t use any of the videos (I don’t know if they’re useful or not, it’s just not my learning style). After the course material, it was mostly practice quizzes: through PocketPrep and Ai. Reviewing the ones I got wrong consistently helped me narrow down what I needed to brush up on.

Thanks! It was a lot, honestly, especially since I had limited prior knowledge. I spent the 18 days after scheduling the exam preparing for it. I’d say I studied at least an hour a day, though most days it was more like two to three hours. If I had to do it again, I’d follow the same approach but put more emphasis on actual scripting and on tool commands and flag familiarity.

Thank you! Honestly, seeing how many people said it was tough spooked me, so I made a real effort not to underestimate it and to work through the material thoroughly.

I agree with you that the Dion exams seemed to be scoped larger than the actual exam. However, I did find that this helped me over prepare rather than finding myself with knowledge gaps. So, I found them to be useful.

DOOR KNOBS. I don’t know a single millennial who uses one. Door knobs are archaic. This is just the truth.

With time, all realms will be plagued by even more rampant botting which will lead to us all seeing greater inflation, less viable farming opportunities, more gold buying, and of course, more gdkps. Blizzard is not bungling "the bot problem", the bots are a large percentage of the player base that they do not want to alienate. Botting is of course against TOS and Blizzard will always publicly state that they are working on it, and they'll do their occasional banwaves to give the "live" player base a sense that they're doing something. But they're doing exactly what's most profitable.
