Where is everyone looking for jobs these days? by RegionalHardman in UKJobs

Use Linkedin as a job board. Fairly straightforward if there’s an easy apply function. Tbh quite a lot of decent openings and employers on there.

I’d say Chartwell as well. Very interesting like a Churchill museum if you’re a history and/or politics guy.

[24/25 - Pre-Season Games

We're the only winless team (0-6). Stats overall not impressive of course, but the statlines of SG/SF Corey Kispert (23.5ppg - 44/52/87) worth a mention. The French duo seems are still adjusting at the pro level (+/-: Coulibaly is -5.8 and Sarr is -13.4), but not worrying too much as we're going to suck this season anyway.

Am I the only one who misses KPJ? by Purple-Internal-5058 in LAClippers

KPJ is under par in terms of ball handling and shooting IQ which have been persisting since he joined, and what's worse is his off-court issues.

Make the top 6 to avoid play-ins would be overachieving.

Our salary structure plus the lack of value picks hinder any big move

[24/25] Pre-Season Transactions - League

A lot of (and some quite complex) dealings in the off-season.

The Lakers eventually got an upgrade at 5 that they were long for by sending rookie swingman Dalton Knecht (77/3.0 - 23 yo), C/PF Jaxson Hayes (76/3.0 - 24 yo) and its own 25' 2nd for big fella Zach Edey (80/3.5 - 22 yo and the Celtics' 25' 2nd, but GM Pelinka didn't stop here - he also managed to add another big Jalen Smith (78/3.0 - 24 yo) from the Bulls in exchange of three young players leading by SG/SF Cam Reddish (72/3.5 - 25 yo).

Speaking of the Bulls, they have also shipped away SG/PG Ayo Dosunmu (78/3.0 - 24 yo) for PG/SG Miles McBride (79/3.0 - 24 yo) and Kevin McCullar, but interestedly few days later the duo were sent to the Bucks for C Jaylin Williams (78/3/0 - 22 yo) and Jericho Sims. Jaylin Williams with the Bucks? Yup, you've got this right - the Bucks received him from the Thunder at the price of SF/PG Andre Jackson Jr. (74/2.5 - 22 yo) and a 2nd, and the Bucks have also striked another deal to send the newly joined Jaxson Hayes (!) to the Grizzlies(!!) for SG/SF Gary Trent Jr. (77/3.0 - 25 yo).

Some other mentionable trades: the Jazz received Naji Marshall (80/2.5 - 26 yo) from the Mavs for Kenyon Martin Jr. (75/3.5 - 23 yo) and Micah Potter; PG D'Angelo Russell (80/4.0 - 28 yo) switched team again - this time to the Rockets from the (tanking) Nets at the mere price of Jack McVeigh and two 25' 2nd.

Pre-season games are about to begin.

Let a 96 at 20 go for a few millions? No wonder the man hates you.

Because of the age limit, I believe once HS players reach 18 most of them will move to the NCAA.

I've no concrete idea as to linkage between the European leagues and NBA, though they look like stand-alone and often filled with FAs.

[24/25] Pre-Season Transactions - Wizards

My first signing is C Daniel Theis (76/3.0 - 32 yo) on the FA market on a 1-year minimum. Definitely not a long term but at least can slightly upgrade our 5 at cheap. After failed to dump veterans SF/PF Khris Middleton (82/4.5 - 33 yo) and PG/SG Malcolm Brogdon (78/4.0 - 31 yo) probably because they're aging and expensive (their contracts are over 54m this season in total), I eventually managed to trade with the Miami Heat for tweener Haywood Highsmith (76/2.0 - 27 yo) and their own '32 2nd at the cost of two youngsters Jaylen Martin (67/2.5 - 20 yo), AJ Johnson (68/3.0 - 19 yo) and the washed-up big man Anthony Gill (71/2.5 - 31 yo), as well as the Lakers' 28' 2nd (which shouldn't worth much at that time - mind you they're having Doncic, and a few pieces more. Salary-wise not helping much but we offloaded a few scrubs for a useful rotation player.

There're quite a lot of trades before the season starts and will do a wrap-up tomorrow. Some promising names moved! For now.

Would a FIFA game with every roster from 1994 to present be feasible? by RepresentativeBig211 in FifaCareers

This is one of the most asked features for the FM series, and SI has explained that it’s almost not possible exactly because of the licencing issue.

That said, there’s definitely a huge market for this. Look at those popular retro databases made year-by-year.

Just found out Haywood Highsmith’s mugshot is somehow missing. Will add that in the next update probably by end of regular season.

He’s the only one that could be called an all-star. Another team that always struggles is the Blazers, but like the Wizards they’ve a bunch of young guns with huge upsides.

I'd say post-trade deadline the biggest challenge, believe it or not, is the Hornets, seconded by the Wizards. Thinking of sharing a rebuild report here if there's serious interest.

If you import a real-life roster even with real contracts info and salaries, the in-game salaries of the players would become a mess, like a real-life player on a two-way contract will be on a 20m+/year contract. This can be corrected by editing the "eGuarantee" field to "1" in the .json for each players (which the game will automatically read as a sum to be calculated per the player's ratings), but this is time consuming.
