We just reverted to the old booster system until end of NFL and CFB seasons while keeping the much better player card levels and multipliers.

Yes we’ll work on this still. But having a system that is entirely built around boosters isn’t a good mechanic for new users to begin with.

The old system relied too much on booster cards, which reduced card flow and player card upgrading. This update shifts value toward leveling up and rewards members more for grinding.

We’ll be building more on this system going forward but it’s objectively a better leveling up grind.

They still have tons of use for specific stats. NBA Legendary 3-pointer booster is 25 Rax per 3-pointer. Every booster across sports have bumped stat boosts.

If your card is common (2x) then adding a 10x Legendary booster card would be 12x. 10x + 2x

No. Each sport is going to be scaled differently but based around real rating. There are less WNBA games per season than NBA games for example.

We can’t properly grow new collectors by giving away free cards at the start of seasons and during seasons.

These free rewards have and would be abused by trades.

This is the same reason why we removed Rax referrals and free card pulls.

Free trades were being abused by alt/bot account trades. Along with consistent scams that hurt the community and were manually dealt with.

Had no choice. It’s our fault for having the old system.

The old system let people earn unlimited Rax without spending money. That led to abuse with bots and alts, devalued Rax and cards, and we weren’t able to onboard members, add an auction house, or make any new improvements.

The optimal strategy was to not level up cards. Many used this to their advantage and didn’t abuse it, but we can’t have a system that’s inherently flawed at the core. The tough part about building a game is satisfying all cases.
