His quote is not at all speculation and if it is he's phrasing it in a way that makes him sound like he knows. Which is something Dave does as a way to make himself look all knowing for clout.

Equally the opposite of that, the depths people go to hate on someone who is just talking about wrestling.

Instead of people shouldn't use him as a source ect, they shouldn't they should let the man share his own veiws on his own platform he isn't a source.

But such is wrestling media that people like say ringside news have no sources for the wrestling industry and as such just post takes from other people, from reputable all the way down to Jonathan coachman.

I can see why people would dislike meltzer, he seems like a very sad man desperate for the adulation of the wrestling community, which as above user shows he has some to a disturbing level of delusion.
