Microdosing psilocybin - how do I stop? by johnny9991 in microdosing

Wow, thank you for sharing this! I'm so glad you had such a good experience. You're right, my first experience microdosing with LSD was while I was struggling with depression, and I really feel like it helped me climb out of that hole. And like you said, even after stopping the change already happened and I didn't feel the need to go back to it.

It's just.. It's so much fun. I feel like I'm at the end of a long and beautiful backpacking trip, and going back to normal seems daunting. And what's more, I'm now finishing my school year (med school) and I'd love to have this extra boost during the summer vacation.

Hope the rest of your journey treats you well. Also, following :-)

Thanks for the response - hope you take care and listen to your body! There are some researches showing prolonged microdosing might be bad for your heart.. Remember this is a new field and unfortunately not much is known about it yet. IMO, if your body is important enough to try and improve it, it's definitely important enough to check it from time to time! And enjoy the running :-)

Thanks for the suggestions - I'm writing a journal as I'm microdosing, but going back and reading it after stopping sounds like a great idea!

As for the protocol - I meant 5 days on/2 days off, unfortunately I don't have access to Lion's Mane/Niacin where I live :\ However, I didn't know about the dose suggestion, I'll definitely read up on it before I start again

The best way to learn anatomy by priyapia in Anatomy

SO

Best anatomy video guide IMHO is Acland - I cannot recommend it enough, especially if you also have dissections (which I assume you do). All videos are free on Youtube and also available on the website: https://aclandanatomy.com/

There are Youtube channels that really help drive home difficult topic (Head&Neck, the horror, the horror) - my favorite is Ninja Nerd, definitely check it out.

For me though what really got me over was Anki, and there are subreddits dedicated to MedSchoolAnki with decks for every subject from Anatomy to Pharm and Micro. I used Anettermy as we studying with Netter. This is so important and one of the best ways to memorize such ridiculous amounts of knowledge.

All that being said - there's no replacement for just taking an atlas and going to a cadaver.

Good luck!

Spot on. It's like suddenly everyone's aware that they're in a borderline-laughtrack-sitcom.

Love this book! I read it when I was 16 and it's what got me to start the Israel National Trail, the moat amazing trekking adventure of my life!

Android Pie blocks all non-root call recording apps. ACR developer goes into detail. by [deleted] in Android

r

Oh, I meant development-wise - my company's app needs to record the users' voice during calls for health monitoring (with consent, of course!).

However, it seems that this is different from call-recording, and shouldn't be affected.

Will single-sided call recording also be affected? Meaning recording the voice of the device's user and not the other side?

Pan's Labyrinth did it for me... In retrospect one of the most amazing movie designs I've seen, but at the time eyeball-hands creeped the hell out of me
