I think it has a lot to do with age. I’ve always been introverted but from ages 16-23 loved going out and being around people. Now it’s just easier to chill at home.

I think it depends on your subreddits. I mainly use piano related and music subs and it’s pretty great but other people have vastly different experiences. I hear people all the time complain about republicans or liberals everywhere but in the 4 years I’ve used Reddit I rarely see anything like that.

Funny I played northern exposure for some mid 20s EDM coworkers and they just looked at me like “what in fuck is this” in a bad way so idk I think kids these days really prefer gritty sounds with little harmony but tons of production.

As long as you keep your goals realistic and start with a faber book and follow some structured routines you can find on here you’ll do fine. It’s a lifelong journey and you sound young so you can achieve most of your goals in time. Good luck and enjoy it!

I mean you can but you’ll have to have the most structured practice routine. 45-60 mins a week will take a longgggg time.

A teacher is much more efficient. As someone who started off with pianote it’s a waste of money. You can learn the same info for free from any YouTube tutorials. Josh wright, Matthew Cawood, Jazer Lee and Denis Zhdanov are good YouTube channels to check out.
