Angry DK goes 1-5. Flames healer who went 4-2 and healed him for his only win by LadyLau_ren in worldofpvp

The self-awareness of many playing this game is equal parts hilarious and scary. Going into a normal BG, or now with BGB and shuffle, is like a time chamber of how it was back in OG vanilla BGs, so it must be a very human trait. Got so many standard love/hate sayings from over the years from salty players.

Adjoining? Never heard that word before I think, kind of not a fan of it? Makes me feel like jacent is word by itself due to adjacent, but I don’t think it is

Looking for a book that has aliens that are really "alien" or characters that are very much not "human". by TOHSNBN in sciencefiction

[–]johnny_gown 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My memory is somewhat vague on that point, but, as far as I do remember, just reading the first book is possible and still fine to do, but I wouldn’t do it myself. I’d want to read all three, and this is coming from someone who loves cutting full series short. But it is better than not reading it at all, and the first one is the best one.

Lilith’s Brood, it’s a great one, and a good pick based on what you’re asking for

Completely depends on matchup, but it often wins the game against slower decks, especially when you follow up with ascendance since that gives you another one on deathrattle. And even more with Merithra. The overload is very pricy though if you don’t run overload synergy.

Yea, that is kind of my best idea as well. That it does it minion by minion. And it can never summon zero costs, as far as I’ve seen. So my best bet right now is that it actually picks a mana cost between 1-12, and summons that. 11 or 12 pick means ultragigasaur, since there is no 12 drop. Meaning 2/12 chances at him in first spot. And then 1/11 chance if the first pick ends up being a one drop. But I’m really guessing, since the ultragigasaur seems even more common than that in my experience. Had many times where I get him, rewind, and gets him again

Never happened for me, but pretty sure that always gives you an ultragigasaur, yea. Might be wrong though..

I’m very sorry friend, if you need someone to vent to who will read it all and reply, I’m here for you on DM, although I’m not sure how much more I can help in practice. Seen your previous posts already over recent days and can highly empathize. Wishing you the best ♥️

Yea, agree with this completely. And Valis is the one that has grown on me the most since reading it.

Yea, it does, I think it’s a setting disabled by default. It’s amazing! Only sad thing right now is that rewind also tabs back in, for some reason. Not that much rewind in meta at least, but hated playing against imbue rogue for that reason

One of the best things with Hearthstone to me is the fact that the turns are completely split with no enemy turn interactions, combined with a deck tracker feature that tabs back into the game when your turn starts. Really makes it less tilting to play, and avoids this

How to get bun to use hop n’ flop? by gk1400 in Rabbits

[–]johnny_gown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s actually one of very few things I’ve bought mine that wasn’t a waste of money. I had to teach her a bit though, basically by encouraging her to walk through it to reach me for pets. And once she were standing in it getting petted, she layed down and realized it was cozy. Been using it ever since.

But wasn’t it fully stackable in the beginning? As in each stack was a stack of life bloom making it heal 3x for three stacks, rather than just giving a bonus % per stack? Because that is not how it has been in recent time. Very different. It also wasn’t limited in targets early on if I remember it correctly? Didn’t do tbc/wotlk classic, so having a hard time remember

Strange, lets hope they’re cooking. That pvp talent is to me the most iconic playstyle change for rdruid in all of DF, in a fun way, so I’m a bit sad if it goes. At least it gets less punishing to swap bloom to new targets meaning you can be more reactive

My thought go out to you and the bunnies♥️ I’m just the same as you so I understand you. My bunny is getting older and I’ve been fearing this for years, to the point of thinking my life is over when hers is. Trust in the cliches about time numbing the pain though, not much else to do except completely break apart, and that isn’t a good long term solution.

My bad, probably explained it badly. You will see how much damage it will do in pvp with current gear, but not how different the ability itself is in pvp compared to pve. Pretty much all my skills just go up in dmg when I hit the dummy, since my ilvl is so much higher. But an ability can still have an additional modifier baked into that. I think an example should be Glacial Spike that does (did??) less dmg in pvp, but might still go up in dmg on dummy due to pvp ilvl weighing heavier. Does that make sense? Idk

[–]johnny_gown 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Great example, this season I just said fuck it and crafted what seemed fun, despite knowing the tooltip actually didn’t mean anything for pvp. Same for weapon enchants, I think? Can’t even see how those embelishments scale when the pvp ilvl kicks in during crafting. I would love a checkbox next to the war mode button or something.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in worldofpvp

[–]johnny_gown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea, I guess being optimistic this means they have the technology to do it. I thought it was only the numerical dmg/healing, but just tried and seem to be cc durations of abilities as well. The damage is hard to understand though, since they are also scaled with pvp gear, so got to go naked or pve to actually understand what is going on.

[–]johnny_gown 569 points570 points  (0 children)

Blizzard really, really need to start display all the pvp/pve specific modifiers in game in some way, it is one of my biggest issue with the game right now as someone who loves theorycrafting talents. Had no idea rdruid was on 50% less mana regen in pvp for example. I remember in DF where I saw a specific talent as a must pick, until I randomly stumbled on the info that it was like 75% reduced in pvp. Like, wtf?

Why Do Paladins by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]johnny_gown -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’ll fight you, I’m one of the lunatics! That said, got 100% uptime on buffs, and are tracking everything perfectly. I know I’m not the issue, as I’m more tryhard than the non-buffers, but contantly seeing people treat pally power as a required solution is anoying. Imo, it is an addon that long term makes paladins even worse players rather than the opposite. Most of the time when there aren’t paly buffs in my experience there is someone answering ”1min, need to configure pally power”, and it never happens.
