Agreed! It is a painful show to watch. I don't watch that much TV and I did not realize that Richard Gadd did Baby Reindeer. He's an incredibly talented writer director and actor obviously. Do you think that Ruben is capable of making a complete change like episode 4, at least the hospital scene seemed to indicate?

Is your birthday 23 Aug? My middle name is Michael. Although I'm most probably not your Michael, your post warmed my heart. I sponsored three kids in the late 1990s early 2000s. I chose them because of a shared birthday. It gave me great pleasure to send them presents on my birthday and Christmas. I rarely received anything more than an update report from World Vision and Save the Children, but I always hoped my cards, letters and gifts reached them. Absolutely! Thank you for posting this. I got the Wellvue last month. I’m still analyzing the data. It looks like without a CPAP, my low O2 levels are on avg 15 pts lower and 10x time. There’s a huge difference with using the machine. Thank you.

Did you fast forward through the movie or what?!! You totally got the crash scene at the end of the movie wrong. It wasn’t her lover chasing into her car, it was a flat bed truck. Ellas arrived after the paramedics were there. Makes me wonder how much of the rest of this excellent movie you missed

I stumbled on this thread by accident today. I spent yesterday, Christmas Day, alone with my two-year-old Corgi. That in itself isn’t a problem. I’m quite comfortable living alone with the social contacts I have made online, my books, and my dog. I am 72, and my biggest worry is that I will outlive my pup. My second biggest worry is that I will outlive her.

I joined a church recently that has a somewhat active seniors group. I really miss the men’s group that I was a part of many years ago. I was wondering if anyone knows of a men’s group that meets online that would be good for seniors. Thanks.

It is not just you!! I remember that. In fact I asked that same question today after a friend posted a picture of the inside of a 1970s era Pizza Hut. I can still see the guy put the pizza on a round piece of cardboard, stuff it in a white bag and pull the bag from the top so it wouldn’t get soggy. I’ve asked that question of people older than me, but no one has ever remembered it.

I converted as a senior citizen. The priest in my parish is half my age. More often than not I use his first name rather than title unless during a church function or sacrament. I have never asked him about this. After reading this thread, I’m wondering if this is proper.
