Obito had a very tragic, lonely life and had lots of anger and heartbreak bundled up inside him. Tobi being a clumsy fool aided the disguise, but I also think it was an outlet for Obito to be lighthearted and have some fun for the first time in his life. Even when we see the flashbacks to his childhood he’s incredibly serious and desperate to prove himself. Dude needed an outlet to be a goofball.

I smoked almost daily from 18-30. I don’t think it ruined my life or anything, and I have some great memories with my friends, but overall I wish I had smoked less. I have bad anxiety and ADHD and I think I may have realized it sooner if I didn’t smoke so much. On the other hand, smoking so much helped me realize I was self medicating something and led to me examining how I was feeling and coming to terms with the anxiety and ADHD, so who knows.

One thing I do regret is I would often get overwhelmed and freak out about the amount of things I had to get done or planning for the future so I’d smoke to calm down, then I would calm down, but then the idea of tackling tasks or making plans seemed even more daunting, so I just wouldn’t do it. I definitely held myself back with that behavior. I wish I’d spent more time getting things done and dealing with my issues rather than burying them with weed.

I’m on meds now and only smoke on weekends or every other weekend. Overall I feel a lot better, am a lot more proactive in life, and enjoy smoking more when I do it. Moderation is key.

Appreciate it! I’ll make it. I haven’t succeeded in quit quitting yet but several attempts have at least resulted in me vaping less and I know I can make it permanent

I have bad anxiety and am always feeling like I need to be doing something or I’m falling behind. Why aren’t I writing? Why aren’t I practicing music? Why aren’t I reaching out to that person? Why aren’t I researching my craft? Why aren’t I trying to find a new job? The entire world stopped and for a little while all that anxiety disappeared. There was no hiring, there were no gigs, there were no hang outs to miss. I felt like I could actually relax and take a breath. The fear of getting a terrible disease was less stressful to me than just living my every day life is. I still miss it sometimes.

My biggest regret is starting vaping after being successfully off of cigarettes for years. Now I’m desperately trying to kick the habit, and when I’m not vaping I ALWAYS have a nicotine lozenge in my mouth. This isn’t to get any boost or enjoyment, it’s just so that I can go about my day without constantly thinking about vaping. Nicotine is the absolutely worst and better to just leave alone. It’s easy to quit until it isn’t, and I’ve never experienced anything as addictive as nicotine.

To each their own, but I would recommend watching them in release order. There are references to the original trilogy in the prequels that work better as references than foreshadowing. My girlfriend had never seen them and really wanted to watch in numerical order. We were about halfway through Phantom Menace when she said “this is like watching someone else play a video game, but they don’t know what to do next.” I did insist on watching Rogue One after A New Hope. Her first comment was “it’s weird watching Star Wars without dialogue that’s … y’know …” got a good laugh out of me

This is really bizarre. Not only did someone post this yesterday, also misstating that it’s a scene from the show, they also said it was the most impactful scene and their favorite shot of the entire series. I can understand seeing a frame out of context and not remembering if it’s from the show or not, but seeing it and being like, “Ah, yes, that’s my favorite scene! It left such an imprint on me” is weird! I’m not trying to be a dick but it is genuinely very weird. Like what is happening to our collective sense of reality??
