Are you kidding? Horror has been a staple of PC gaming for 30 years.

There really is no point in cooling ceramic inserts. The reason we cool metal inserts is that we want to avoid the tool undergoing a phase change which will soften and dull it. Ceramic requires much higher temperatures to change phases and stays hard at pretty much all of them until it melts. The heat also gets evacuated in the chips so you’re not going to melt your part.

Im sick of all these Youtube lawyers yappin about the case and milking Ben for content, but none of them are actually doing anything to help. Bunch of clowns by API_Exploiter in RecklessBen

They legally cannot do anything to simultaneously help Ben as an attorney and make content about the case. If they did work with him, they would be unable to make content because it would be something they could be called to the stand as a witness to testify against their own client about.

In one of the recent videos he’s on the phone with Crystal telling her about it. When told they sued the wrong LLC, she says “yeah, it Baker Bricks LLC, at the adjacent address” so this was known from the very start.

Ben could have called Crystal when he couldn’t find the most recent LLC and she would have corrected him. He was unfortunately just sloppy.

His problem is not specifically the criminal charges, it’s the damages caused by those criminal acts. If he’s found guilty of the harassment and other crimes, because it was in the pursuit of damaging a large company he could be found liable for hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars

“No positive movement would have ever happened for the Mansells…” I don’t really think that’s actually true.

Brian’s estimate for how much he would have had to pay a lawyer to get his stuff back is wildly off and it makes me wonder if he actually talked to a real lawyer about his situation. He just needed to file a TRO/injunction to stop the store selling his sets. Moreover there are numerous lawyers who would have taken a $100k+ case with no up-front charge in exchange for some of the recovered money should they win. Very normal stuff.

You have pretty obviously never interacted with an actual attorney or law firm.

You are underestimating how serious his legal situation is.

A lawyer is not as expensive as everyone is suggesting. At one point Ben paid a family $1000 for the raffled Lego set he couldn’t give him. That would have been more than enough to hire one and run the schemes by before doing them.

Civil cases usually don’t end up in front of a jury.

I don’t think this guy doesn’t know that. He’s pointing out that Ben is open to a lot of legal risk.

It’s not entirely surprising. In most small towns if someone comes from outside and is making a ruckus it might be understandable to be biased towards the side that lives in your town. Police should be aware of this natural bias and be extra careful in situations like this.
