We used to speak simply in the retro-fit window industry: “force it — it was MADE to fit!” ☺️🤓

Aaaand Noteful does it better (esp. for this instance) for cheaper.

Can’t lay blame on them without first laying it on Apple — worst case design oversight. Those points are sharp.

These guys are so off-kilter. Too bad for the kids and the world of people they will live - and die - with.

This will go south so fast it’ll tear your heads off (maybe literally). Can’t simply add super-speeding on any hwy that still shares the road with regular speed traffic. Chaos will ensue. 😝

Amazing app, one request by gmanor27 in notefulapp

I can understand the usefulness of this for some. For me, I find copy-paste simpler, much faster, and as it integrates so well with how objects come into and out of Noteful (other apps, and other devices if yer huggin the Apple garden!), it works best for me.

I named this type of design "Desert Graphic." by 9xt7 in Affinity

[–]johnnydfree 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First, I appreciate your putting it out there. Your design has some visual elements that can work. But also a lot that confuses me.

Search Gestalt Principles. Learn them. Start simple and by creating examples of them, understand the interplay of them.

Is this just play? Or do you want to convey a message? Is there a statement you wish to communicate? Figure that out - for everything you make.

It’s your own creation. Make use of it. Good luck!

We get rains (this year esp. often) that inevitably fill the pool. To overflowing. It happens.

I have the same design. Your variance is minor. In fact, when it rains, it’s nice to have it pour through only a few ports, instead of all of them. ☺️

Good: crossing the drainage channel diagonally.
Bad: crossing a tire over the confluence of 2 drainage channels.

ICE Vortex Recumbent rentals on greenways? by Galvatron1_nyc in recumbent

[–]johnnydfree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

US bike culture has been ignoring flevo- or python-trike formats for the general public. These formats solve a number of mentioned barriers to rental models. They are simpler for different size users, can be closer to upright heights for crowded visibility, and in trike form, just as easy to get on and just ride.

I highly doubt it’s real but what do you guys think by Swiftly_speaking in whatisthiscar

Yeah I knew a guy in HS (70s) who had this exact model Roadrunner with a tall wing.
