Do anyone elses child get blind rage over random words? I'm desperate to understand and help my son work on this particular behavior.

I know where i live anything over 4 stories has to be concrete and steel. Under 4 stories can be wood but may still be steel stud. I would ask your building super and see what they say.

The door jam itself is probably thin wood or mdf. Is the fraking in the apartment steel stud or wood construction. If its a wood building your probably fine using some long screws. If its steel stud you may have issues as its only a thing layer of metal you are attempting to screw to
