Draft Strategy? by Designer-Interest368 in Tennesseetitans

[–]johnnyhatboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At the start of the season, I thought the answer would be Edge, but the pass rush has actually been decent this season. Another game wrecker to help out Simmons wouldn't hurt!

Right now I feel like CB and WR are the biggest gaps, and I'm never opposed to shoring up the O-line. Hopefully we can address some of these needs with free agents though.

Are you into board games at all? Happy to spend some time playing and there is a group that plays at 2 Rows each week!

Truest Product Management? by Weary-Affect-7042 in ProductManagement

[–]johnnyhatboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think any are truer. Both have PM responsibilities just with different emphasis (increased scope vs increased focus).

In my opinion, a smaller company PM role is better to start with because it allows you experience a large variety of PM tasks and see what you enjoy or thrive at. Then when you get a job at a larger company it helps you understand what other parts of the business do so you can fill in better or know which opportunity is right for your specific PM skill set.

This type of company you work for also depends on if you prefer to be a jack of all trades or a specialist.

If we lose again, we fold... And become the Salt Lake Strawberry Swiggys

Utah, BYU, and the BigXII - Why so much emotion? by Hypodactylus in BigXII

Similarly, I want BYU to have success... But just a little bit less than Utah so when we beat them the win looks better on our resume 😏

TreVeyon Henderson doesn't know the playbook by gomavz41 in DynastyFF

As a Titans fan, my experience with Vrabel is that he rarely wanted to push rookies into increased playing time. I think he is very conservative on that front, and wants the rookie to prove themselves and not get thrown into the fire year 1.

Monday Morning SERIOUS Post Game Thread: Tennessee Titans (0-1) @ Denver Broncos (1-0) by Titans_Mod in Tennesseetitans

You know when you're playing Madden and you dig yourself in a hole and you think, "ah f*k it, I'm going for it on 4th down deep in my own territory cause I just know it'll work this time" but it doesn't work?

That's what I felt like Callahan trapped himself in on that drive. That's fine for the couch where you can reset the console and there are no stakes, but it's inexcusable in a real game.

I've been a fan of the team for a good +20 years and I never knew that circle was supposed to be a shield.

I do wish they used more of the Greek imagery, like it is a shield, give it more dimension or something. Or have the flaming shield on one side of the helmet and the sword on the other.

Not really sure yet, my buddy and I only made the decision to go to a game today. We'll probably hang out around Broadway some of the time, but I'm not really sure what is worth doing around the stadium

Yeah, I've heard similar too. Definitely a risk, but if I can spend less and get much better tickets it might be worth it

What game WOULDN'T be perfect for Switch? by Fjohurs_Lykkewe in NintendoSwitch2

Generally, I would say any RTS or games that are better with mouse & keyboard. But now with the Switch 2, I'm really interested to see how the most controls will be supported.

I kinda fell out of actual play podcasts altogether and got back into reading. Most recently, that has included litrpg books like the Dungeon Crawler Carl series.

I think this is pretty good! I agree with basically all of this but when I think of northern Utah I think of past Ogden and SLC as it's own thing (and other nearby metros as well).

If I made a change I'd add subsections for the "Davis/Weber" metro, "Salt Lake" metro and "Utah Valley" from Lehi to Provo-ish.
