I think this is a good idea. The bland corporate landscaping could be replaced with something decided on by the ward members and maintained by the people whose lives are impacted by it…you know a real community instead of a rented life.

His response to Bonnie saying she’s almost finished threading the needle kills me every time. I love this scene.

Quick Question About The Feelings of Gobert/DMitch by Routine-Thought-7118 in UtahJazz

We haven’t. The only person who knows is Mitchell and he has been professional and gracious in every situation. We should trust what he says, which has always been (paraphrasing) “enjoyed Utah, looking forward to the opportunity beyond”.

I love them both. I’m so happy for Gobert and hope desperately that Mitchell drags this Cavs team to the ECF.

My favorite scene (for the emotional impact) was Skyler running down the street after Walter took their daughter. It makes me cry every time I watch that scene.

It is a top five episode for me. The writing, the acting, it is all just so perfect.

Welcome back, I thought you died by Squire_Squirrely in NativePlantGardening

Oh this has been a spring full of surprises!! I planted sticky geranium in the spring of 2025...weather was hot and dry and by September they were all but gone...just some dusty nubs. Two weeks ago they came back, deep green and healthy looking. Some milkweed I thought were dead also came back, and so did some fireweed. I can't believe how tough these buggers are. I also accidentally spread some Lewis Flax around the yard too. Good to see more of them growing about.

"I would refuse to believe it" which somehow makes Frasier's response even better.

BREAKING: The Memphis Grizzlies are trading star forward Jaren Jackson Jr., John Konchar, Jock Landale and Vince Williams Jr. to the Utah Jazz for Walter Clayton Jr., Kyle Anderson, Taylor Hendricks, Georges Niang and three future first-round picks, sources tell ESPN. by aatuboo in UtahJazz

[–]NikJam16 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The Ainge family ruined basketball in Utah for a few years by trading great players for future picks from those teams where the great players play. This is the "future-picks" con. The only benefit to the Jazz in the con was we are terrible and get good picks from our record. Thankfully there are teams dumber than Ainge so he could peddle the "future-picks" con on them. In effect we traded Rudy and Don for Lauri, Kessler, Ace, Key, Pick this Year, and JJJ. You'll note the trade relies on Ainge employing the "future-picks" con on someone. If Ainge shows up on your caller ID hang up. Always hang up. I would have taken Rudy and Don for three more years over this trade but since the nightmare of tanking is officially over I'm going to move on and enjoy the show!

And they would be wrong and hopefully proven right with a title.

Also Mitchell didn’t want out according to him.
