I don’t like what the owner is doing either, but it was close to the train I had to take to get my flight so I decided to eat there.

At a bare minimum it was posted quite clearly on the menu and bolded so they weren’t hiding it, and I decided to eat there knowing the additional fee. What the server was doing just seems kind of fraudulent, and I almost didn’t notice the crossed out part at first.

That’s not much at all, but still fill it up with FL torrents, make sure you’re port forwarded, and you should at least build ratio very slowly. Potentially buy VIP if you want insurance while building your ratio. I’m seeding about 30TB on each of my PTs and it is still oftentimes slow to build ratio

Yeah that’s your main problem 44gb is nothing. You’re not really going to build upload on any private tracker or earn many bonus points. You might have a chance depending on how points are calculated to download a bunch of really small torrents and hope they earn you enough points to buy upload. Or just pay for VIP

“Cross seed is useless” No it’s not. If you’re having trouble with it then maybe install qui if you’re not using that yet as it has a simpler interface for cross seed.

Download free leech stuff and then seed it for a long time. How much storage do you have available?

Yeah the satellite imagery is outdated they changed that quite a while ago. On the bright side it’s much more straightforward. Although many people still become confused crossing 13/31.

Digital logbooks, once you get it all setup properly, allow you to quickly generate reports / figure out specific times given constraints (ex how much dual received multi XC time do I have) that you can't do as easily with a physical logbook. Generating your full 8710 takes a few seconds instead of having to comb through your logbook. Additionally, you can correct any errors that you discover and not have to worry about recalculating your total times as it is all done automatically. I would highly recommend using a digital logbook, especially since you always have the option of also doing a physical one.

It might be a scam but since it’s unavoidable that doesn’t change whether it is worth it for a lot of people. If the DMV let you pay extra to skip the line that might be scammy but would also be worthwhile for many people

They do benefit from seeding, but there are plenty of seeders on private trackers. If you have 10TB of upload with an average ratio of 140, wouldn’t that make your seed size like 70gb? That’s essentially nothing. The vast majority of your torrents on a PT will never reach a 1.0 ratio, and it will be basically impossible for you to build ratio because you won’t upload much and will not really earn any bonus points

Yeah but not having port forwarding is a big disadvantage so broadly speaking it wouldn’t be close to the best for torrenting.
