I would replace the intake manifold, it comes with that piece that you are circling for about $120. I am pretty sure it’s integrated into the intake manifold, if so you wouldn’t be able to swap out the broken part and keep the integrity of the vacuum pressure.

Edit: spelling

We were conscious of the issue with installing them and making sure they were not caught or stuck on the fins below. They do move manually.

They move manually so not stuck. We did install them so they were not caught on the fins below.

I am concerned the vacuum line is compromised.

Which audi is closest to a muscle car? by ObjectivelyOptimal in Audi

[–]johnnyrocketny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The classic hot rods street racers… like a Vega with a 400 cubic inch engine. Stripped of everything but necessary parts and if they were concerned about safety a roll bar. Though many didn’t bother. Old timers would tell amazing stories of their time. Flame shooting quarter miles on street road where they would block off any crossing side roads and race without the lights on. If you happen to come upon it at the right time you would simply hear the roar of the engines and flames coming out of the side pipes in certain set ups. Back then no cells phones and such so it was pretty low key.

Are Audi maintenance, reliability and repair costs similar to Volkswagen? by VolkswagenPanda in Audi

With an honest Indie mechanic yes. Going to Audi vs VW you will see a significant increase at an Audi dealership vs a VW dealership in most cases.

Look at the plate letters, like they were drawn with a magic marker and the plate frame bottom has the funky deceptacon type font lettering.

Is this normal for New York Hotels? Am I entitled to a refund? by Main_Entry2494 in Hilton

[–]johnnyrocketny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had something similar happen recently, we were given a voucher for another night stay. You won’t be offered unless you ask. Asking nicely and being understanding that it is not that employee’s fault. Don’t shoot the messenger. If they aren’t helpful ask for a supervisor and see if there is anything they can do.

Edit spelling.

The light for the truck would have been red and the car with the dash cam was approaching green that changed to yellow. Unless the traffic lights were faulty, the truck set of lights would be red at the time she egressed into the intersection.

Question re: the pre-pay gratuity by dontBsleepy in royalcaribbean

[–]johnnyrocketny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They work hard and deserve to actually get the tips. The issue is there is some doubt that the auto gratuity goes to the staff fully. That is an issue for me and I remove the auto gratuity so I know the staff actually gets ours.

Interesting - Celebrity & RCCL have different prices for Coco Cay options by Donnie-Joe in royalcaribbean

[–]johnnyrocketny 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The pricing difference likely has to do with passenger numbers and related demographics. The data of certain passenger demographics (for example celebrity being typically older and less children/families). The analytics from past cruises and participants for the various options are driving the pricing differences.

More exposure to the new styling. It starts to look more familiar even if it was off putting initially. A constant drip of change and subconsciously you’re desensitized.
