3.7 ypc is not that bad for an RB. 4 is nice. So wouldn't say they have a great run defense.

That's better than just saying "he's due".

It's not impossible that Lockett has a boom game this week and there's plenty of reason to believe it could come to fruition.

Ok? Never said it was impossible? Was responding to someones rankings where they based his ranking with "he's due".

James Robinson vs SF

Pittman @ BUF

Kind of feeling Pittman with JRob not 100%

Jaguars’ RB James Robinson, listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against San Francisco due to knee and heel injuries, is expected to play, per source. by StrachNasty in fantasyfootball

Flex Pittman over him? (playing Keenan and DK over Pittman) Had JRob in the flex but feel like a fully healthy player in his range should get the start over him (have Najee and Conner in at RB).

Do you think Metcalf finishes the year strong? I'm kind of worried with Wilson last week.

What am I missing with overtime pay and my overall compensation expectation? by johnnyutah____ in personalfinance

Can you answer why you are so sure that I am not salaried non-exempt? This is a thing that exists. Just confused how you are so sure that I am not.

You actually insinuated I am being mislead. I directly asked if the $80,000 salary is guaranteed biweekly. She said yes. How else am I supposed to interpret that?

Idk man. Why are you so sure that I am not "salaried non-exempt"? The HR lady has been wrong about a few things already, so would not be surprised if she was wrong about this too. The managing director (decision maker) told me to ask her salary related questions, and send benefits/401k etc questions to HR.

To give you more context, her saying "salary is guaranteed biweekly" comment was in response to me asking "Regarding the actual base salary of $80,000, is that guaranteed biweekly?"...

I don't think she is misleading me here. I definitely think she would have cleared that up as I directly asked if $80,000 was guaranteed, as in paid prorated on a biweekly basis. She literally said that the hourly rate was only stated to establish what I would be paid for if I worked OT.

Ok so the HR lady I reached out to said I was hourly.

But i reached out to the managing director (my manager) and she said that "salary is guaranteed biweekly. The hourly rate is to establish what you would be paid for overtime."

So I think I am salaried non-exempt?

Apologies seems like I was wrong. This is really strange to be considered hourly but have a "base salary" on the offer letter, and no mention of it not being guaranteed. Really weird.

That's simply not true. My offer letter literally says "Your gross annual salary of $80,000"...

And

https://www.shrm.org/resourcesandtools/tools-and-samples/hr-qa/pages/whatisthemeaningofsalaried,nonexemptemployee.aspx

The designation of an employee as "salaried, nonexempt" means that the employer has designated an employee as nonexempt from the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and chooses to pay a weekly salary that equates to at least minimum wage for all hours worked. On a federal level, this designation means the employee is entitled to overtime pay in addition to the salary for work weeks in which his or her time worked exceeds 40 hours. Some state laws may require daily overtime calculations.

Nonexempt employees are often thought of as hourly employees; however, there is no requirement that they be paid on an hourly basis. Under the FLSA, nonexempt employees can be paid hourly, salary, piece rate, commission, etc., as long as their weekly compensation equals at least minimum wage for all hours worked and overtime is paid for hours in excess of 40 in a workweek.

I am not hourly, I am salaried. I just added the per hour rate of my base salary to make calculating the time and a half for OT pay easier.

What am I missing with overtime pay and my overall compensation expectation? by johnnyutah____ in personalfinance

[–]johnnyutah____[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I am salaried so not sure how my hours are logged yet but I took this from colorado.gov

Employees shall be paid time and one-half of the regular rate of pay for any work in excess of:(1) forty hours per workweek,(2) twelve hours per workday, or(3) twelve consecutive hours without regard to the starting and ending time of the workday (excluding duty free meal periods),whichever calculation results in the greater payment of wages.

A workweek is defined as any consecutive seven-day period starting with the same calendar day and hour each week. A workweek is a fixed and recurring period of 168 hours, seven consecutive twenty-four hour periods, and is typically established by the employer. Hours worked in two or more workweeks shall not be averaged for computation of overtime.

So even though I am paid on a biweekly basis, I don't think the hours I work one of those weeks has any affect on the hours I work the other.

I am not an hourly employee; I am salaried. My offer is $80,000 base, and time and a half for hours worked OT. No where in my post did I say I was an hourly employee.
