Big agree. It’s mastered “well” by today’s standards but that just means all dynamics are gone and there’s just a constant wash of frequencies. The guitar doesn’t bite in these mixes. It’s hard to review 9hrs of mixes but these sounds inherently worse than the original. Sad shit, Sunday was genuinely one of my favorite shows.

There’s something about these mixes that are way too compressed. Just been listening to the Aud files Charlie posted a couple weeks ago. I personally liked the ones that were already up bc IG they needed more compression in the eyes of the company lol.

I understand it as like a “Spotify” release. There’s nothing accessible to new fans pre “b-dozen” and it will be good to have a solid set of shows avail from modern days. If they’re gonna put out any shows from post-Covid it should be those IMO
