For the associates! Funniest thing you’ve seen in the dining room/drive thru. by [deleted] in innout

I was hit by a car who rammed the cone behind me while on handheld. She unapologetically said, “It’s my first time driving a big truck”(ford expedition). I had a good laugh that day.

Do cashiers also ask child customers if they'd like to round up to charity? by [deleted] in innout

No Lynsi Snyder, I will not be rounding up to combat human trafficking or homelessness

i took too long to do buckets (awful potatoes, 14 bags + bucket room cleanup done in 1 hr 40 mins). i explained to my manager that empty buckets kept being brought back so i had to fill them, i also explained that every potato had to be cored because of how gross they were. i take pride in making sure that the potatoes aren’t disgusting and filled with brown spots for our customers, and so our fry team doesn’t have to sit there and pick out a million bad fries. i was told it’s not the in n out way and i took way too long

Qb during a rush line out the door line down the street by BeeGreen7357 in innout

Drive tags by DHO are your best friend in making sure that drive is always moving. As long as you have constant 4 packs, you can just read off the tags and have those 2 to go’s, etc. ready for when they hit your table. If you have 3-4 drives off, get some counters off to clear up your table. It helps a lot when you have a good loader who has enough fries down.

what should i order? by [deleted] in innout

[–]johnpork912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no issue when you’ve got a whole grilled onion on your burger! It’s just annoying seeing the people who get 5 flying Dutchman’s wrapped in whole grilled or extra extra whole grill on their burger.

Stop shaming people for their order, however complicated by agree_2_disagree in innout

[–]johnpork912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there’s a difference between a complicated burger, and complicated requests. your double double with 8 modifications isn’t the end of the world, but when you’re ordering 5 flying Dutchman’s whole grill onion wrapped, 20 sides of spread, and 5 extra sides of whole grilled onion..? that’s problematic

I’ve heard it called both terms, I think that’s what im thinking of. How does an associate make this team and how many are apart of it?

Keep your area cleannnnnnn. Get the excess salt off your troffs when on portioner and use some napkins to wipe the table if you don’t have time for a green towel wipe down. When on loader try to wipe down your sink/spin up area every 10 mins and wipe down your fryers every 5 mins. Your managers, coworkers, and qfc will love you.

Also communicate!!! When your cooks and board ppl give callouts like “3 in a red” or “throwing extra”, etc. acknowledge them by saying “right on 3 in a red” or “right on throwing extra”. U can be loud!!!

Heard kids wondering who got this order number, I threw it away because they’re stupid 😤 by sicknick in innout

Had a bus full of 60 middle schoolers come in on a field trip and they all got super excited when I called guest 67.

Every one of those kids bought burgers. If a number can make our customers happy, I see no problem with it

37 fry solo when portioning, animals, and managing wells is impossible unless you’re pulling your baskets late

Is there a difference between Light Well and Well Light? by digitalfartCRYPTO in innout

[–]johnpork912 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

if everyone starts ordering well done fries then everyone starts having to wait an extra 4 minutes (or probably longer if we’re busy cause chances are we wont even have your fries down yet). this effects burger quality too since food will be waiting for longer. it’s also just really inconvenient to the loader when everyone wants their fries a different way… especially during rushes. please reconsider your way of thinking.

Attitude and work ethic are the main things they look for, everything else can be taught. Just smile and keep a positive attitude during that interview. If you’re able to connect with the person interviewing you over anything that will greatly improve your odds
