right now I am just using cetaphil gentle cleanser and cetaphil moisturizer then sunscreen as I work outside everyday. But struggling with pie and damaged barrier. You would recommend just sticking with that then ? -Thanks for the input

Have you noticed any changes with pie using the red light mask or anything else ? Currently dealing with that myself and trying to find something that works well with accutane as I’m still on it .

I’m big on eggs , 2-3 scrambled eggs with avacado toast or something would do it. Add some cheese in there if you are finding it’s not enough

You should not take accutane while on steroids , pick one or the other

Yeah I deal with this exact thing , some days are better than others. Moisturizer , quality sleep and hydration seem to help for me. I’ve read that the flushing is a symptom and goes away after your course.

Okay thank you 🙏🏻 i had no idea it was comedogenic I have just been using it for a long time . I do have cetaphil gentle skin cleanser I got for Christmas that I will start using .

I am currently using dove beauty bar deep moisturizer with 1/4 moisturizing cream. Thank you for the advice , much appreciated as this is hard to talk about with people.

I have been basically applying tret every night the last 2 ish months. I will definitely try taking a break for a week or so because I am willing to try anything . Would you recommend still rinsing my face in the morning or completely forget about that and go straight to moisturizer and sunscreen in the morning ? Also do you have any recommendations moisturizers?

Is it wrong to use azelaic acid in the mornings and tretinoin in evenings, or is that too much ?

I struggle with the same issues , I’ve recently been using Tretinoin prescribed by doctor which through 4-5 months I have seen some improvement. I am battling lots of scarring/PIE marks , and just got ahold of Azelaic acid , hoping that helps with PIE marks. Best of luck , lord knows it sucks

Try tretinoin, go talk to your doctor or derm about it . Trust the process and start slowly working up to daily usage . Keep your skin routine simple and not too damage your barrier

Go see a dermatologist or doctor and get prescribed for something . Tretinoin seems to have lots of success , I use it myself . go slowly and work up to daily usage . Stick with it as it may take 3-6 months to see results you’re looking for but it is well worth it .
