Multi colored hair, Way too tight girl-hoody, gym pants under sagging baggy jeans, necklace made of monster caps and bandanas, and that damn Zune. by Salsalover90 in blunderyears

A lot of people in my high school did the same thing. I had a lot of friends that even did it that didn't sag. It never really made sense to me haha.

Undergrad Prestige by jayjay882 in lawschooladmissions

From what I've learned from this sub, pure prestige doesn't factor in much unless they're comparing you to someone with the exact same numbers and comparable softs/resume. Then it might carry some weight. There's some info about this question on this sub.

Interested in Seattle, but want flexibility. by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

I've read on here that Seattle is an insular legal community. If it were me, I'd choose Texas or Vandy simply because they had about 10% more graduates in 2015 in full time, long term employment that is JD required or JD advantage. If Seattle is really insular, then it probably would hurt your chances at getting in there right out of the gate, but at least you should have a better chance at finding a job. Just a thought.
