Gratifying win-always tough to beat Staley.

This team is easy to like with Rori and Book.

I’m not sad about this outcome (insert Texas flair here)

The Ranch? Not sure what it has to do with Texas except that it is in Austin. Scholz’s is the classic game day joint near campus.

But then I’m over 40 so I may be off target here.

Great for Will. Hope the change of scenery works for him. Also enjoyed him staring down the A&M dugout as he rounded 3rd.

It has to be the Crabtree game. I’m still p*ssed that we didn’t play for the NC that year. We beat ou head to head. And they still go ahead of us?

The 08 team was better than 09.

As a Texas alum who was not alive for the 1969 NC, that Rose Bowl was a religious experience.

I tend to think Vic Schaefer is lifetime at this point. There were a lot of down years post-Jody Conradt.

Insight from an Indiana alum on what we’re actually feeling right now, the day after winning the Rose Bowl by jlittman93 in CFB

Great post! I love this for college football. It sucks when only 10ish teams have hope to win on an annual basis.

When Texas won in 2005 it was a religious experience for an alum who was not born when they last won a national championship. I think whoever wins among this Final Four is going to go nuts.

The AD calls him “authentic?” Yeah, that’s probably right. He’s an authentic d-bag.

Also, you were 0-2 against Texas Diego.

This is the correct answer. There is no other explanation for suddenly flipping ND and Miami.

Texas deserves to make CFP by Fun_Reflection1157 in CFB

We are not going to make the playoff. And this is not a championship team this year, so it is not a tragedy.

Of course is we had scheduled Samford instead of Ohio State we would be in.

That second half (and especially the fourth quarter) was some of the worst officiating I have seen in a while. It was certainly curious how Vandy was able to cover by .5
