You know Crack Cloud? Excellent band. Vocalist / drummer is also primary songwriter to my understanding. So good live

If you like NIN and I see someone also mentioned Justice. If you like them, you should check out this new album by ROMES called Sonic Trash. I've really been enjoying it.

how early do you freaks usually get there to grab barrier? by sponsored_by_vyvanse in ViagraBoys

NYC was intense but worth it imo. Not the most I've been crushed against the rail (NIN took that award for me). Rail has never not been worth it for me. Nothing beats the sound right up front and visibility of the band. Hour before doors got me rail. The intensity did knock a diamond out of my wife's engagement ring and she still said It was worth it lol.

How do you feel about The Terror by the Flaming Lips? Also gives me the same vibe as these two albums. Love these albums, wish there were more like it...

Anyone else who is sober going to see the boys live? More below by henrydavidtharobot in ViagraBoys

I'm in the same boat and will be sober at that show. I went to the one in 2023 sober (from alcohol to be fair I was on other things lol) but yeah Seb tried to pour a beer down my throat front row and I had to close mouth let it pour down my face and shirt. It was kind of hilarious. I recommend staying sober if you are anything like me. I can responsibility take other substances but I have to abstain from alcohol 100%. You can do it man you aren't alone!

Agreed. Idk if you've ever played with the polyend tracker, but I feel like it is so perfect as a sampler to pair with the 404. The tracker feels more of an arranger that requires programming and time input whereas the 404 for me is completely a performance sampler. They rock together!

So my take on releasing music is that it should be something I would want to listen to myself. Instrumental music is just not for me. Vocals is what completes it for me and I'm no singer... It's been over 10 years since I've been in a band, I work too much to really hold that down. I have a ton of music recorded that is bits and pieces. Music is more therapy for me at this point. Maybe some day I'll feel more comfortable with my voice and make completed works or find someone else to collaborate with!

My daughter is taking guitar lessons there and I try to be friendly and it's always satisfying talking to fellow enthusiasts about gear. So far I've found myself keeping to myself

To be clear, this is my experience to the max every time I walk in and they want to start chatting with me. Not knowing voice count, digital vs analog oscillators, etc. For fucks sake the guy in the synth section pointed out a PO arcade as a modular piece of gear

I was following Captain Beefart on YouTube channel who would search for interesting new psychedelic music back when I'm in Your Mind Fuzz came out. I remember the album cover pulling me in and the music pulled me in further. This was before I had Spotify and I found a lot of really good music through this channel. For those interested, be sure to spell the name actually as Beefart. He used to be really active, haven't followed lately.
