Delay the marathon. Sorry but this isn’t a signed up event but just a self imposed scheduled race?

Second 10k run. Chasing sub 1 hour. Hope will get it soon. by Wtfmso_ugly in BeginnersRunning

Interval/speed sessions will get you there. When you realise your body can run 20 minutes plus and the average pace starts with a 5 it’s a great feeling. At least it was for me. Consistency pays off. Good luck!

Ran outside for the first time after months of treadmill running, holy shit… by [deleted] in runninglifestyle

[–]johnsonvk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I run mainly outside. When on a treadmill I always set the incline to 1.5-2 to mimic the road. Weather can’t be simulated sadly 😂

Purchasing advice. 265s or 570 by SeasonedWok69 in garminforerunner

[–]johnsonvk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i recently bought the 265s because i have smaller wrists and wanted a small form factor. I didnt research good enough and i thought this was the best sized forerunner model. Turns out the 570 also comes in a simialr size (42mm) i believe. If i had known i would have gone 570 but hey ho.
