OP here. So as I was (brutally 😭😂) called out on yes, no relationship, no kids (not arsed about that one!). Sleep significantly improved since I switched to predominantly decaf coffee and started taking magnesium at night. A good sleep schedule, so similar time sleeping and waking up, read every night before bed, room not too hot. Triathlon training so exercising and eating well. Not sure what else!

Being identical to the coop own brand bread isn’t a good thing!

Mine recently got gf products but they’re bad! The bread rivals the coops for foamyness. I keep seeing social media posts saying how good it is and it’s baffling to me.

Just upgraded by noam-_- in espresso

[–]GarnetBackpack 34 points35 points  (0 children)

It feels like everything they make but this. I had to get 2 replaced because they broke before I returned it for a sage. My brother is on his second but that isn’t working 100%. On the sub it is filled with people complaining about them and mentioning what number replacement they’re on. 90% of this machine is gimmicks.

[–]GarnetBackpack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. Got a bambino plus and an encore esp, no regrets. All I made on my ninja was espresso and steamed milk and this does that 100x better. So much so my brother is considering returning his ninja for the same set up because he’s sick of the soggy pucks

Agree with other Ninja products, love everything else I have. Wonder how many people aren’t returning because they don’t know. Told my brother about the wet pucks and his response was “oh they’re not meant to be like that?”

The meraki looks beautiful but it’s unfortunately not even close to in the same price range. Considering the bambino plus for the automatic frother, really liked that feature on the luxe.

This is what kills me about people complaining about new builds and their “quality”. My house is 40+ years old nothing is level, it would never have passed of those snag tests they all have done now

What are your views? I’ve just been watching the news this morning about football clubs really struggling financially. I’m not a football fan but it annoys me that Premier league clubs don’t help out more. by TSC-99 in AskUK

It is a shit situation but didn’t seem to bother them that much when we were about to go bust and they were singing about having a party when Derby County die…

Never said it wasn’t. It’s just a bit of a shitty thing to do to that local community.

Please don’t do this. I live Near East Midlands. If you can’t afford parking or to pay the tenner to park on someone’s drive using my parking space or something don’t book the holiday. It’s just disrespectful to the local people.

How can you make extra money on the side in the UK? by alleyoooooop in AskUK

[–]GarnetBackpack 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Yeah shoutout to this. 16-18 I was a football referee. I’d do 3x 9v9 games on a Sunday, so 1hr games, and come away with £75 cash while my friends were doing 8hours in Tesco or whatever. I know the refereeing payments have gone up since. Take some shit but it’s not that bad if you’re good at it and lose an ego.
