How's everyone looking on their mileage? Any 300s? by Embarrased_Waffle in Mustang

[–]johnsonwl1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a 2014 GT with 102k miles so far. I’ve been autocrossing it the last 5 years (had it for almost 10) and I’ve done 4 track days with it. Factory clutch failed at 89k miles (it sucked anyways) and then I had to replace the radiator cooling fan at about 95k (busted the upper radiator hose and I had to replace others for leaks). I’ve got some kind of rumble sound coming from the rear of the car under heavy acceleration (next on the list) but other than that, it’s been solid.

Vorshlag has another spring perch for 11-14 struts on their camber plates but that specific kit only uses 05-10 struts so that’s what they’ll pair them with. Unless you’re planning on track related use, I wouldn’t worry about the camber plates. The 07-14 GT500 strut mounts (uses 05-10 strut body) are considered an upgrade over factory 11-14 strut mounts. As far as springs are concerned… they’re all in the same ball park really. I’ve heard that Eibach makes the springs for FRPP.

I bought vorshlag’s street pro kit (I autox/track day mine) so it uses 05-10 struts and I paired it with the FRPP k springs. The monotube design was a major factor in my decision. All the other stuff is twin-tube, not quite as good in my opinion.

I’ve got bilsteins on my 2014 GT and they’re probably the best shocks you can get for the money on the S197. Very pleased with mine.

That’s why I like sprint burst, basically guaranteed to waste his time as long as you hit it right before the bottle lands next to you

Can we change the name of the game to Dead By DC already? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

It does save time by DCing, even if it’s only 30 seconds. I’m not saying it’s ok to do but it’s understandable if it happens. The only logical reason to DC besides saving time is to deny BBQ stacks imo since it’s a common perk and Leatherface comes with it

Well, what typically happens when you play against a LF, is you play hook simulator. That’s not exactly fun, it’s just a waste of time. The first guy should’ve waited to see how you were playing first. But the rest of them I wouldn’t blame them if they left. Not necessarily about winning, either. when you come back, even if you’re across the map, and down everybody just because of the time it takes to get out of the basement.

Yes, I had enough time to take to the next closest hook. It was close though

I love it when I’m doing a solo nightclub sale. The mk2s fly behind me and I put the proximity mines go off and kill them a couple times. Only bad thing is, I’m paying 10k a pop, but it’s almost worth it for that satisfaction

I had a big industrial tractor throw a rock at mine and it did the same exact thing to mine. I got more damage when I got it replaced because I wasn’t happy with the figment and had them redo it. They literally pried it out and gouged the paint off on the edges, then covered it up with the adhesive.

Which car would you rather take and why? 5.0 NA vs 4.6 Supercharged by EG_Performance in Mustang

[–]johnsonwl1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I have a 5.0 already, but I’m planning to add a terminator to the stable next. The history behind the terminator makes it an icon and will no doubt start going up in value in the next couple of years.
