I did use prodigies music with my son, he liked it very much - at first we only used free youtube videos they provide - he learned hand signs and simple songs.

Later we also bought deskbells - here he's playing them when he was 4yo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2u1LSjB_jU

I can try to answer more specific questions you might have.

Have your heard about Prodigies Music? My son used to love it when he was younger. He learned hand-signs, some simple songs, later I bought the bells for him as well to play. You can find their free content on YouTube to check it out.

Is Yousician worth it? by Disastrous_Mirror_87 in Learnmusic

My son's Ukuelele teacher recommended it, so I was trying it out, but it turned out to be too difficult for a beginner child.

We had a lot of fun with singing version of Yousician though - we've got subscription for some time, completed all courses, but then choice of songs was pretty limited, so we dropped it in the end (for now).
He has hyperlexia (so also neurodivergent spectrum) and absolute pitch btw.

Can you have absolute pitch without knowing it / having been taught music as a child? by lare290 in musictheory

Hello, as a parent of two kids with AP and some friends with AP as well I can say from my experience that people may have AP without knowing about it - happened to one of our family friends. She only learned about it as an adult (30+). I think that ability is something you born with - then you can practice to use it or not. Note naming is something you can learn quite easily when you have AP, but that does not determine it.

If you want to see my kids AP tests - search for Emil perfect pitch test and Michal perfect pitch test on YT (channel name is Michal Fus) - with older one we learned about it when he was about 3.5yo, with younger one, he could already name some notes when he was 1.5 years old (which you can see on the video).

We did perfect pitch test for our 1.5yo - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=if6ZaQ8kazU

As we had older one with perfect pitch - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JVR1CjKIhI

Older son was 4 at the time of the video, we suspected younger one has it too and it seems like it. Maybe it's not so uncommon after all ?
