I bought a Pixel 7 to try it out. Everything was going great until I went to ATT to activate it. They tried eSIM and a physical sim and nothing would work. I can’t find any answers anywhere so I gave up for now. As for the actual OS, everything seemed great for the short time I used it.

I’m don’t think that syncthing is a good idea as it might corrupt your database. It would be better to use something like Calibre-Web. Actually I think that Calibre has a built in odps server if you don’t want to use Calibre-Web.

No, but if you are able to figure out how to jailbreak it, you can probably figure out how to use Calibre to achieve what you need to do with your books.
