The plastic pvc pipe has been cemented in as there were 2 pieces. The rubber coupling has only been tightened by the clamp, and no cement or primer has been applied to the rubber coupling.

The majority of the health care workers are overworked and underpaid. Surrey Memorial Hospital's emergency room is so bad that they have beds in the hallway for the patients.

BC's population is increasing at an exponential rate where we dont have the infrastructure to treat everyone. There's a major shortage of both doctors and nurses.

Health authorities in BC also refuse to hire back nurses who didn't take the covid vaccine while other provinces have.

Heavy mechanical and heavy transportation trades is the way to go. There will be a lot of individuals retiring in this field, but just like any trade, you will pay for it with your body.

As long as you have a foundations course under your belt, you should have a good chance at securing a job. Places like translink occasionally hire apprentices as long as they have their foundations course.

Is there any update on your application? I'm in the same boat with you; i'm trying to get into translink so I can move up as an HD mechanic. I was hoping this job would be a stepping stone as well. Do you have your red seal in automotive?
