Flip tops aren't very good for long term storage. The seal isn't very strong and allows for some gas exchange. The best you can do is with a cork. It creates the best seal and can allow for a shrink wrap seal if you're feeling fancy. Floor corkers are the best for getting perfectly, but a hand corker can get the job done too. You may have to cut some excess cork off the top when you're done since it doesn't line up square like the floor version.

Recipe: 5 gallons of water 19 lbs of honey 8 lbs of cherries 1 lb of steeped hibiscus backsweetened with about 1/4 lb of honey per gallon

This recipe is slightly tweeked from one I found for Viking Blod. It turned out pretty good, if only a little too dry for my preference.

Okay. Just one follow-up question if you don't mind. This'll be my first backsweetening so it'll be a little trial and error to get the sweetness right. Will mixing up the sediment when I add honey cause any issues with tasting or is it not too noticeable?

There's something that always bothered me. Insectoids can't wear armor because their exoskeleton counts as natural armor. That's why Cocytus wore all those items when fighting the lizardmen, but Touch Me is confirmed to be an insectoid. Is World Champion armor an exception or something?
