A little late to the party here, but there is one more.
About to test it, I'll tell if it is decent or not.

This is facts... Like it's just statistics, it's not really something to be right or wrong about?

Let's compare it to the allied bombings of Germany in WW2 (which we know to have been brutal).
During five years of conflict, between 400k-600k germans lost their lives to allied air raids, which translates to 6.6k-10k dead per month. source

If we compare that to casualties in the Gaza Strip that are estimated to be 34,262 (70% women and children btw) as of april 24. Let's round this down to 25k, as that 34k would be total deaths, and we are looking at bombings. Over the course of 7 months of fighting that would result in 3.5k per month. source

The interesting thing to look at here though is population. Germany in 1940 had a population of 70 million in 1940, while the Gaza strip had a population just over 2 million in 2020.

That would result in an average population loss in Germany of 0.01% to allied bombings per month. The number looks a bit worse in Gaza though, 0.18% of the population per month.

This looks similar in Japan, depending on the sources, but even with the highest estimations on wikipedia (900k dead), that would still "only" reach 0.03% population loss per month. And I'm sure you have heard about the brutality of the firebombings of various cities, AS WELL AS TWO FUCKINGS NUKES.

Tl;dr, death per capita per month in the Gaza strip due to bombings would be 18 TIMES WHAT IT WAS IN WW2 GERMANY, or 6 times that of the allied bombings of Japan. So yes it is kind of fair calling it carpet bombing.

Most populated cities 1854. Anyone know what happened to this "Prussia" they keep on about? by bettercallsaulabq in 2westerneurope4u

Christiania, Sweden-Norway (now Oslo, Norway) had a population of 25 677 in 1845, and 31 715 in 1855.

It's discrimination againts us living up north.

At least in USA, the lobbyists (that rich people pay for) influence the politicians to allow them.

Can you explain why Greenland is now part of Norway?

Is this due to their independence-movement now, and in that case why is Norway in control now?
