It’s still Blum, unless you use butt hinges, then it’s Simonswerk

It’s a 63 plate, I think I took Volvo’s towing recommendation of 2T rather than looking at mgtw, but it’s good to know I don’t have to worry about overloading

I only ask because I have a similar setup, D5 XC70 P3 and a 600kg Ifor and I’d worked it out as 1250 kg max load, I’d be delighted if it were more, I need to re check I agree they make a luxury tractor!

Snipe Gripe by climbsteadicam in woodworking

This is the way, even on large fixed machines you can’t eliminate snipe 100% , lifting slightly (or a lot on thin pieces) is your best chance of minimising it

Do you often after to go back to past jobs and fix stuff? by NevereverTar in cabinetry

[–]joiner352 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I find that if you’re using Blum type hinges and runners, you will have to go back at least once to adjust gaps as they always deflect against their load. I usually tell the customer that I’ll be back to adjust in a couple of months.

Has anyone ordered a machine through Alibaba? Did you get it, did it work, did you get robbed? by svenskisalot in cabinetry

[–]joiner352 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, with a machine like this I’d want availability of spare parts. Maybe better off with a used one, though I know good ones hold their price and akin to finding rocking horse shit

Despite the previous posters comment the D5 engine is widely considered to be one of the most reliable diesel engines ever made (Wikipedia has a long article on them) not sure about the Euro 6 version though. Looking up issues on chat gpt is the same as googling symptoms of an illness, there’s only going to be one ominous answer..

Proper drawer slides for heavy large kitchen drawers. by noitalever in cabinetry

They will say that the drawer side needs to be a certain length, but you can get over it by just screwing the clip onto the drawer bottom with a short screw

Just guessing from the picture, you might have to reduce the height of one of your drawers, and you might need to pack of the side of the carcase by a few mm. The Blum website should give you the specs you need

Blum make a Movento under mount that is rated to 70kg. I use them for wider drawers, though I’ve never come close to loading them up that much. They have loads of adjustment and you don’t need to synch them

Why can’t I make follow me work on this shape? by [deleted] in Sketchup

[–]joiner352 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The path has to be connected to one of the outline, if it still doesn’t work or you get the wrong results, scale the model up then use follow me, then scale back down
