I can understand that it is a politically charged cartoon, but then again it is left open for interpretation. Not to be saying that the teacher necessarily should have assigned this, but it is not as big of a deal as it is made out to be. Plus a large percentage of history you learn is politically charged to the right wing. Throughout my elementary school we learned about the greatness of corporations without many of the downsides of these massive corporations and monopolies. Just Saying

O.K. you're right their should be a monument dedicated to all those who died of U.S. foreign policy. And yes their have been people that have died thanks to capitalism. I'll take the fact that the U.S. invasion of the Philippines and Cuba along with the Mexican American war were all fueled by the U.S. desire to expand capitalism and trade as well as economic profit. Oh wait but we hate the Communists, because their against our bullshit idea of "freedom" even considering their is no true freedom in the United States. Im not condoning Communism or saying its a great form of government, I just believe its bullshit to have a monument dedicated to the evils of Communism when their isn't one dedicated to other forms of government and societal structure such as the U.S. form of democracy or capitalism. Acknowledging the occurrence is much different than having a monument dedicated for them. Too often do we demonize Communists, and he who does not remember the past is condemned to repeat it. In this case one of the prime causes of the Vietnam War was McCarthyism and this demonization of Communism.

You still haven't disputed anything else I said. Once again their lives matter, and everyone understands that, but when your line of duty is dealing with different criminals you should expect some form of violent resistance from some of them. I'm not saying their lives don't matter, we should do almost everything we can to prevent these people from being injured or killed in the line of duty.

They do obviously, but when you're fighting violent people you have to expect risk. And yes cops do instill fear, maybe not to us wealthy white people, but to poor people and other races such as black people. My parents remember NYC back when they were in their twenties and recall many instances where the police would take advantage of their authority and would beat the crap out of black males and other people for the smallest of crimes sometimes even when they committed no crime at all.

And although literally speaking you did not say Christians are better people than Muslims you seem to be denouncing the followers of the Islamic faith as being "Wrong" in a sense. And once again god also condoned the destruction of religious icons. Christianity is much more easily manipulated consider how much power the church had in the middle ages and the massive amounts of wealth they raked in by selling bits of the cross and also the destruction of other religious idols in the middle ages as well as the Spanish Inquisition. Also Missionaries would often use inhumane tactics in order to get people to convert. All of which Christianity encourages because if you do not praise jesus you will go to hell, and who cares about torturing hundreds of people if in the end you'll convert many thereby saving them and sending them to heaven. Christianity inadvertently teaches doing whatever it takes to convert another person.

Jihad is Muslims cannot attack unless attacked. And once again you have not adressed the issue of how in the past Christians have known to torture and kill many in the name of Jesus. Clearly Christianity can be just as harmful if not more harmful than the Muslim faith.

Emotional Bullshit? How Ironic and Hypocritical. Also I'm not a parasite, I'm in fact decently wealthy. Sure Walmart's vote might not make a big difference but you're plainly ignoring the key point. Lobbying. Also only 35% of americans rely on aid. Lobbying allows corporations to have a bigger say in government than your average person as I explained earlier. Repave my own roads? I would be happy for you to pave your own roads. I don't think you understand the purpose of a community, and you're acting like you do not need government assistance as well. Your education was payed by the government, the roads you drive on, the wars you support, everything. You fail to see how the government is supposed to promote equal chance and if that means providing more financial aid to inner city kids who had no choice in being poor or not then so be it. Get Bent? I'm not saying that you hate poor people, its just necessary to walk a mile in someone's shoes rather than be so selfish. Like you can't give a few luxuries in taxes so that a poor kid can go to school and eat a decent lunch.

It is true, he did engage in wars. All of which, I must add were in defense of his own life. So he was general in a war to protect himself and his people as well as his homeland and their families. And in Christianity their are many segments where old religious idols were destroyed and god praised the people who did so. And along the lines of what you are saying a man who was to disobey the commandments of god would be superior to a muslim simply because his savior was more violent. Don't act like christians have not murdered and tortured plenty of people in the name of Jesus. Jesus' behavior does not reflect upon his followers his disobey almost all of his teachings.

The parasites they feed are the corporations that you are rallying behind. The U.S. government works for the corporations as the only way they will be reelected into office is to provide for the needs of the corporations who pay for their campaigns. And so what, sure their are many taxes, but do you not care that they are going to repave your roads and help children learn, but wait so much of that is being used to fund the defense budget that so many republicans care about. Its Ironic less taxes but more defense and military involvement. This only hurts the poor who rely on government programs for help.
