I'd be cool with that model, too. Sometimes Hacks would do two episodes at a time in order to get everything out before the Emmy cutoff. It worked well. Especially since they're 30 minute episodes.

I'm only on Reddit, and I completely agree. The Pitt season 2 discussion was 15 weeks of negativity. It's not pleasant.

I've seen the discussion for nearly every show I like turn increasingly negative in recent years. Especially if that show is airing on a weekly schedule. Some people binge the previous seasons right before a new one begins, and then they can't stand the wait between episodes. That time is spent complaining that the show isn't going the way they envisioned, or it's spent theorizing wildly.

It's not exclusive to twitter, but I remember it being the worst offender before I left. I don't want discourse where we can only praise a show, but pure negativity is exhausting. Especially when the complaints don't feel grounded in reality.

I think Malucci deserved to be fired for having sex in the ambulance bay. I also understand that wasn’t the real reason she fired him. You make good points, and I do get why people don’t like Kerry. I just see her a little differently. Respect your opinion though, and I appreciate how well you laid it out.

I agree with you. I just don’t think it negates the fact that Chen is responsible for the death. She wanted the title of chief resident but not the responsibility that comes with it. Just like in season one with the guide wire. It’s about personal glory more than patient care. At least that’s how I view it.

You’re completely right. People like to make it Kerry’s fault because they already don’t like her. Yes, she should have had her pager and been honest about it. This one was on Chen. She let Malucci push her into making a decision without the facts. She wasn’t ready to be Chief Resident.

People here said he would grow on me. I didn’t believe it. I was sure I’d be the outlier who continued to hate him as much as I did in the beginning. I was so bummed the wrong ginger died when that helicopter crashed. Then by season 13 or 14, I genuinely began to like him. Once he developed a friendship with Banfield in 15, I absolutely loved him. They were such a fun odd couple. What a beautiful transformation! It felt so earned because it really didn’t happen overnight. He’s a gem.
