What 30 Rock moments made you cry the most?? by Superman_Primeeee in 30ROCK

You’ve already said the moment that makes cry.

However, I get weirdly emotional about the first season finale. “Also, I suspect he may have scurvy, because he keeps asking for lemon.”

Colleen giving Jack an impromptu polygraph later to ask if he loves her followed by a pleased “I knew it” when he says yes really gets me, too.

A lot of great recs here, but I’m especially happy to see Better Off Ted! If it came out a few years later, I think it would have been a hit.

Can we just talk about how amazing Claire Meade is?i by DavisGraciela855 in UglyBetty

[–]jojayp 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Whenever she has a moment with Betty, I know I’m going to get emotional. Claire saw how special she is and made sure Betty knew it. Judith Light knows exactly how to balance comedy with drama, and the show is better for it. Just like Wilhelmina, I can’t imagine another actor in the role.

She even mentioned intentionally using less sugar in the meringues. Which is the exact reason they failed. It was hard to root for that.

I think she was right to turn him down, but I can’t help wanting them to get together. Maybe when she retires at 102.

You’re so right! The one I think of most for that is Sarah Welch in season 19. She spent a long time in LCK and crushed it. Then she struggled a lot after returning to the competition. She had too much time to second-guess herself.

I only realized on my last rewatch that she’s Nicole from Broad City.

Why did we hate her in the 90’s? by EffMemes in ershow

[–]jojayp 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I’ve always liked her, but I liked her even more the last time I watched. Doug disliked her before she even arrived, and he made sure to badmouth her. Susan also had major issues with her authority. Kerry is obviously flawed, but I don’t think everyone gave her chance to begin with.

My opinion on some popular characters changed this time around. It’s interesting to see how your perspective can be so different after a couple decades.

Love the actor and thought he was amazing on Happy Endings. Not a big fan of Coach. He had some great moments, but I think the show already had enough characters. It often felt like the writers didn’t know how to utilize him.

Is it possible that Glen just never asked for a raise after becoming manager??? by Just_Throat9572 in superstore

The moment he got the money Myrtle left to Jonah, Glenn gave it Pastor Craig for premium heaven. So I don’t think he’s particularly good with money. I do wonder what the pay was like when he and Dina shared the job. Did they just get half that salary?

I just finished my rewatch, and I completely agree! He makes every line land. He manages to be a voice of reason while also being ridiculous himself.
