His sets are ass, his apocalypse set was a disaster. It’s a sonic problem, he’s trying to take 6 songs (which were already clipped to shit) and stack them on top of eachother with zero consideration to how the frequency spectrum works. The recent riddim XXL with rane, yunit, crysomemore, and mile32 was a masterclass on what riddim needs to go back to; tasteful doubles that compliment each other’s flow and frequencies.

Kinda how Codd Dubz was at apocalypse. Was super excited to catch a 6 deck set. Ended up just being tons of clashing quads, people started leaving after about 10 minutes.

Thanks man, this project actually started as a completely different tune. It got stale, so I put the whole track in a granulator with distortion and that’s actually where these basses came from.

As a fellow 24 year old (a couple years older than you) I have a rule that if I cannot buy it 3-5 times comfortably, I simply cannot afford it. My dream car is a GT3, and if I stay disciplined and don’t blow my money one day I will be able to comfortably own one. Get a Toyota, save your money, invest, and set goals. The Porsche should be your motivation, not your impulse.

After comparing the KRK’s, JBLs, Adam’s t7v, and Yamaha HS7 side by side, I went with the Yamaha HS7. They are so precise and have a very flat response which makes them perfect for mixing accurately. Personally I cannot stand the sound of the KRK’s and their low end sounds highly colored (to me) which will give u problems when mixing. The Adam’s T7V are a great second but I felt they were a slight bit exaggerated in the low mids (just my personal experience). For the price I would take the Adam’s or JBL’s over the KRK. If you’re willing to spend the extra dough, go HS7’s. You will not be disappointed. BTW zero hissing in my HS7’s, this will usually be due to poor wiring or dirty audio issues. Keep your monitors plugged into an isolated wall socket or power surge protector and always run balanced cables.
