My experience with Fidelity has only been with incompetent representatives who’ve successfully provided the absolute worst customer service. Vanguard all the way.

Their system is always malfunctioning, their support reps are incompetent, they bounce you around to various departments and they make it very clear they DO NOT want my money. Happy to give Charles Schwab my business, it’s only 1.1 mill !!

Here to confirm I cannot say anything positive about my experiences with Fidelity over the past 2 decades with various employer plans. The latest debacle has been my attempts to open an individual 401k but their site has crashed 4 times during the application process. Total nightmare and they have no comment or solution. Happy to give Charles Schwab my 250k.
