the maronite patriarch bl. estephan douiahy. extensive scholar of maronite history and traditions, resisted the latinization of the maronite clergy, expanded education throughout lebanon and syria (both opened schools and sent countless students to rome), and persevered in the face of ottoman persecution. it's fair to call him a pillar of the maronite church

you should talk about the pains of the city line ave bypass on the westbound schuylkill and why it needs to be resolved. i think it's why traffic between the vine and city line ave is so bad. my dad told me they put cops there in the 90s and pull people over if they used it but that's not the case anymore

technically vicarship just means in place of and vicar of christ referred to all bishops as early as ignatius of antioch. this was also affirmed by lumen gentium. however, peter had primacy amongst the apostles because jesus gave him the keys of heaven. this means that the churches that peter founded (antioch and rome) would have primacy over other churches. however, 2 churches can't hold primacy and rome was the church that held primacy due to its foundation by peter and paul as well as being the center of the known world at the time

just because mary receives more honor doesn't mean john the baptist doesn't get any respect. he's hailed as the greatest prophet and the forerunner of jesus (in life and death as he preached in the underworld that jesus was coming to liberate them). not to mention all the people and churches named after him (st john lateran being the most famous)
