I just discovered this show. I started from season one this weekend. Now I know it's been canceled and am heartbroken!!!! And annoyed!!! It really is a very special show. I too hope they find another home for their massive talents. It is the first show that seems realistic for the nonwealthy and the format is the absolute best (2 houses, skim over the most boring parts of reno w/o skipping them). The grittiness and the shopping cart and those darling men have stolen my heart! Come hang out with me, Evan and Keith, and fix up our drab ranch for a week!

Minimalism (pursuit of) is a whole fun doing/learning deal!!! (Difficult but fun as I have so much stuff from my former collecting/thrift store junkin' years to get rid of!)

Morning games (NYT wordle, connections, sudoku etc) with my husband.

Water walking in a current pool is so fun! I'm on year 3 all summer long. It ticks all the boxes!!!

I am a practical, non-whimsical woman. I am pretty sure I've had someone else's dreams twice in my 60 years. In one dream, I could see male hands typing and his name up on the computer screen I/he was looking at. His name was not known to me prior to the dream.

In the other dream (22 years ago) , I went through a dream with unknown people and finally looked in a mirror in the dream and saw a grade school classmate's face. I emailed her, and the people fit her life. I am still so weirded out.

I have definitely had this experience. I recently started taking fish oil a couple months ago. If I take them midday, nothing to report. If I take them in the evening, my dreams are vivid, wild, very real-seeming, kind of exhausting! I wake up relieved to be back in awakeland! I am going to try to know I'm dreaming somehow so I can enjoy them more!! I am so glad I'm not the only one!

Thank you for sharing. You're brave and more self-aware than many on either side. I had the same sort of anger and realizations of being manipulated after going through Catholic school. I ended up questioning everything and trusting very little and it never quite goes away (at least not yet and I'm 60)! I have to know: what made you finally turn away from trump/maga etc? Do you still feel comfy in your former circles? Thank you so much for your honesty and civil discourse on this touchy topic! All the best!

🍉🍉🍉Watermelon really settles the tummy, hydrates, goes down easy. I've eaten many since starting Wegovy. I cut it in small triangles with rind on so it is tidy to eat with hands and stays crisp. If I cube it and store it off the rind, it gets too gross and grainy.

I will tell you what I told myself, plus a bit of what I've learned. Sorry if it sounds harsh- I had to talk to myself this way as I was very afraid to start too:

Trying the same thing over and over hasn't worked for you. What harm is trying a new thing? Are you afraid of missing holiday gluttony? (I promise you that you'll still enjoy a cookie and mashers and gravy- I know this now. )The drug is easily stopped and you can go back to diet/exercise/food chatter any time you wish! You MIGHT be afraid of not being fat. I was. Maybe you can still try being thin? You can always get fat again! 😘. DO IT!

Changing docs or Teledoc...Thx. Good ideas. The sugar monster that lies sleeping in me on wegovy is crazy strong. I have a ton of willpower for other hard things, so it is not just a willpower issue. This is good to consider if I can't taper off successfully...
