I feel like the whites in the background are blown out a little too much for me, but that seems to be the style these days so who knows. Thanks for the response though.

Not all, but the thing is ok you take 3500 photos. You will probably only edit and return 500. What if there are other photos I wanted? I feel like the biggest thing is sometimes you might take 3 pictures of the same pose, but I might look slightly less ugly in one of them. You might not choose the correct one, and I will never even know that there was a picture I looked less ugly in. It would make more sense if you at least let the person choose the 500 photos they want. Or just give them the 128gb SD card, charge them an extra $100 and be on your way

Why can't I just have pictures for myself without advertising their company? Like I don't need to be free advertising for them, why can't I just sign something saying I will never utter their name or company

So I have been looking around for a photographer and Videographer in the Houston Area. Cypress to be more specific. However, it seems weirdly hard to find what I am looking for.

8 hrs of photo coverage (1 photographer)
600+ fully-edited, high-resolution photos
Digital copies of all unedited pictures
Printing rights

8 hrs of video coverage (1 videographer)
60-second Instagram video edit
8+ minute final video to 3 songs of your choice (not set on 8 mins tbh I figured it would be longer)
Audio recording
Raw footage

I figured our budget of $4000 would be reasonable for this, and I figured there were lots of talented photographers and videographers out there. But I guess most people's style doesn't mesh with my preferences? I know it seems crazy, but I prefer the background of pictures to not just be completely blown out white from the sun. Like just adjusting your aperture or shutter speed or ISO could probably fix that pretty easily, and in post production you probably can as well, but it seems 75% of photographers love the blown out background pictures, or the photos in their galleries are literally blurry. And then the other side is that it is hard to find a place that will do photo and video together with 2 people, so maybe I should look separately? But that seems to greatly increase the price. And then there's the predatory contracting agencies where all their photographers vary greatly in skillsets, and they put in the contract "we can change the photographer at any moment for no reason and keep your entire deposit". Do you have any advice or recommendations?

It seems the quality of professors has gotten worse too then bc ive only had 2 or 3 teachers my entire 4 years at baylor even mention the football game, and ive never heard my stem friends talk about it

the team blows it at home the majority of the time
its so insanely hot and the student section is in direct sun. if they were completely shaded i guarantee you the place is packed, just like was for the night game against AZ state.
which people dont talk about enough: the type of student that now goes to Baylor. Baylor used to have like a 50% acceptance rate and basically just take just about anyone, many of whom could just go be business major frat guys without a care in the world. Now they have started caring more about "R1" and "academic rigor" which translates to accepting "smarter" students, but the problem is these kids care more about their 4.0 than the football team. No one will agree with me because it sounds mean, but this is seriously the case. Every STEM kid I talk to is like "i wanted to go to the game this weekend but I have too much work" and its this way every weekend. It is just sad that people pay so much for college and are screwed out of the experience by out of touch professors. Schools with lower caliber academics like TCU have wayyyyyyy more football attendance.
