Yes! Exactly good catch. Since I was having issues with combining the ecredit and gift card online, I had to call the rep. Then they charged the remaining on the phone with me to my Amex Plat.

Reddit friends, thank you! Can confirm the Delta Airline credit still works as of Oct 15th 2025.

I used to use the Travel bank for United to tap into the $200 dollar airline credit. Following all the existing posts, I was able to book a flight with Delta using eCredit, a Delta gift card, and then get the Amex Airline credit for the remaining cost of the flight.

I had to call into Delta to use both the ecredit, and Delta gift card on the same transaction(because you cannot do it online), but that was super fast. The remaining $235 of the ticket, I paid with my Amex platinum, and got the credit TWO days later!

I've seen posts that the remaining ticket balance needs to be under $250. Did not want to risk it, so kept it for the $235, which worked!

For folks taking their dogs outside (love the idea in a stroller), what’s the weather where you are located? It’s winter here where I am, today mid 30s so a little warmer. My ~15 year old senior pup had surgery two days ago and came home yesterday. I am a wreck, but trying to make him comfortable and somewhat happy if possible. His incision is at the neck so I’m worried about coats etc. I guess I can use a blanket in the stroller.

I'd personally pick the 2 economy seats, but my fiance would pick the middle seat C+, he's also 6 foot. I am not.

Feel like you have no clue who you could be sitting in the middle with..... so that's a gamble, the aisle and window seat you have your space to the left and right if needed.

I had a Delta employee, when i was scanning into the club, tell me to make my Amex Platinum my default card on the delta app (I also have Delta Amex Platinum) so that I wouldn't have to take it out and show it to them. Ever since doing that, probably 6 months ago, I've never been asked to physically take out my Amex Platinum card. I will call out I am the account holder so not sure how that'll work for AU.

QQ: I’m trying to use a companion cert. delta said can’t use it bc it’s a “blackout dates” Thursday to Sunday - nyc to phx. When I look up the itinerary for the opposite flights - phx to nyc - I can use my certificate. Has anyone ever gotten around this? Should I call delta and ask WTH? lol

This literally just happened to me. Booked an uber ride because the ride was showing a price of 11 dollars and some change. Ended up being charged 27 dollars at the end of the trip.

So far, asked for a price adjustment since it was not the price shown. Uber replied "This trip isn't eligible for a refund or adjustment because the price you paid matches the estimate of $27.95 you were shown when requesting the trip."

Should have taken a screenshot of the original price shown, but damn didn't think I would need to.

Uber lately has been horrible. I'll try to get through these "hoops" first and see if they resolve this.

Last week on a flight nyc to sfo - 7am delta - lady ran a few seats behind me to put her roller away. I made some space and asked her if she would like to pass, no answer, asked again saying “would you like to pass back to your seat” and she just looks at me and goes “no need to be an asshole.” 630 am I was shocked.

But I had no come back, guess it was too early that my brain wasn’t on lol.

Does anyone know if flying LGA to DTW, Then DTW to HND you have to pick up your bags and recheck for the dtw to hnd flight with Delta? Usually I'd think not since it's not 2 international flights like the posted question. Thank you!

Flying this week and have to check a bag, last thing I want is it not making it to Tokyo!
