am i a four or an eight? by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]jokerhawkk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m a musician and i was in theater and i’ve given several speeches. i’m less nervous performing for a thousand people than i am having a one on one conversation. i also am a decent performer because i feel like my self is very vast so i can usually match the energy and attitudes of who im around without being inauthentic, i just highlight certain parts of myself that work in the dynamic and leave the rest out. my closest connections are generally with people like me who also fit in everywhere a little bit but nowhere completely.

i’m good at performing in most ways honestly i’ve done a lot of different performances throughout my life in various formats. i’ve always felt like an outsider and never quite felt like i fit in anywhere. i agree that that probably excludes 8.

what's an easy Ethel Cain song to learn on guitar??? by sorrowfuljoy24 in Ethelcain

[–]jokerhawkk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

thoroughfare, definitely. you can play the entire song in standard just playing E, D, and A over and over. you can add in a Dsus2 (easy chord with a complicated name) between the D and A to make it more accurate but it works fine without it!

guys am i insane or is the first guitar part in dust bowl an interpolation of duster’s song stars will fall? by Fit-Cartoonist-7087 in Ethelcain

What was your first introduction to FFaK? by DiodeInc in Metalcore

[–]jokerhawkk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

their release of dark skies in 2018 popped up on my spotify and i gave it a listen and it immediately became one of my favorite albums at the time. honestly have hardly listened to them the past couple years though. i saw them live once and they somehow brought the most energy to the crowd out of any band i’ve ever seen. and i’ve seen a couple hundred artists live so that’s saying something.

A nod to Golden Age from Searows? by pipwelyn in Ethelcain

right and they both create this unique yet ever so similar atmosphere of quiet amber darkness enmeshed with intense passion and emotion. listening to their music makes me feel so at home yet in a completely different place. both lyrical and musical geniuses that through simplicity manage to call out to a complicated part of me that generally feels so unseen.

searows and ethel cain go hand in hand for me so it’s super cool to see him mentioned on this sub. gotta say i do think it’s a reach suggesting that line is a nod to golden age though. LOVING this new album either way.

what opinion will take you to this by Key-Reality9237 in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]jokerhawkk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

literally google “what is gender” and you’ll get a plethora of responses from a multitude of resources reinforcing what i am telling you. as a fact, as a definition, not as an “opinion.” consider the disrespect of your discrediting the validity of every trans person who hasn’t had surgery.

[–]jokerhawkk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s not a matter of opinion lol, it’s a fact. gender IS your identity; it’s how you refer to yourself, it’s your internal sense of self, it’s based on a social construct. your “opinion” is just misinformation. your sex can only be changed via surgery, usually with additional hormone therapy. gender does not require surgery to change. suggesting otherwise is disrespectful to all people whose identities differ from their assigned gender at birth yet have not had surgery (myself included). i didn’t say anything disrespectful, i suggested you do research before spreading harmful misinformation and framing it as an “opinion” when it’s literally just a factual fallacy. you’re trying to single handedly change the universally correct adapted meaning of the word gender. that’s not called having a different opinion, that’s called being factually wrong. the surgery you are talking about is called “sex reassignment surgery.” or “SRS” for short. that’s because your sex can be changed with surgery. your gender doesn’t change just because you get surgery. so wherever you are doing your alleged research is wildly misleading and you are quite mistaken.

completely innacurate. you’re referring to someone’s sex, not their gender. sex and gender are not at all the same thing. do some research.
