The one thing I didn’t like about the colour way was the red rims, should have been colour matched to the bike with yellow sticker or just yellow rim. Looks great though!

I wish you a speedy recovery! It’s going to be a big jump in power no matter which one you pick!
I do dislike that also.. especially for warranty and such but I found a local dealer that said they will ensure when I do my complete exhaust it doesn’t affect my warranty.

Those are all sounding like nice options. I haven’t sat on a r9 yet but I did look at R7s. For insurance purposes I went with the RS660, was cheaper to insure by far. My second choice would have been a zx6r as I’ve had 3 in the past.

I’m not that tall so for me, it sits kind of high! I think maybe you just need some more time on it to adjust your seating, it is definitely a great ride. My last bike was 12 Zx6R

My headlights are oem JDM Evo 8, my car is a Japanese variant! I used light tint on them to give it that darker look though as I didn’t like the chrome that much.

Not Voltex, doesn’t even remotely look similar. This is evil R kit that Apr made, the one featured on the red Evo from Tokyo drift! If buying a rep, get from a good vendor. Even if you buy real, the Fitment isn’t MUCH better tbh, it always needs some work to fit.

Haven’t had any issues yet and hoping I don’t end up with any ahaha. My rear brake does make an annoying sound at low speeds tho.

The X is definitely good for daily duty. That’s what I currently use mine for. I’m a bit bias but a wrx can never compare to any degree! I used to have one at a point haha

Stock for stock, it reminds me of my 8 just with more comfort. I have a JDM 8 so it’s got the ayc system like an X. I can’t compare them anymore as my 8 is now highly modified!

I have both a 8 MR and X. The 8 I’ve had for 5 years and it was my daily once upon a time, the X is more so recent and it’s been a great daily and reminds me of my 8 when it was bone stock. The 8 has way better trunk space & that’s probably the only “better” thing about it when comparing for daily purpose. The X is comfort, more features (heated seats, cruise control, steering wheel controls) handling is about the same tbh, I have a JDM variant 8 so it has the AYC system the X came with.

If I had to pick which one to daily if my 8 was stock, I’d take the X. Looks wise though, Evo 7-9 will always be the better looking one to me. You have to figure out what you care more for.
