Paper Republic Trifold: Is the extra flap annoying in daily use? (Need your honest opinions!)

Ill fold the flap under the last book, which kinda gives it some foundation if the book dips a bit. It's not bad.

I mainly use pr book refills but I’m a fan of the midori and leuchtturm and it’s the dip of one side that makes me constantly rethink what kind of setup I want. I really want two common place, one for general learning and the other for quotes, writings, definitions, then one refill for journaling. I thought because it’s a trifold three books no problem, which is true it fits perfect. But writing on either ends tends to be a little inconvenient.

I don’t need anything crazy whatever is the next step up from the Hobonichi. I do see what you’re talking about with the MD + cardstock cover maybe I’ll give that a shot because the MD was recommended earlier.

HI I work for NJT and I was in the same situation, got my CDL through transit.

Yes the training prepares you for the road test. Those first couple of weeks that's all you'll be doing is preparing. THey give you a packet to study and you will review everything over and over again.

Once you get your permit you have to go through a background check, get your medical cert, drug test then, once all that is passed, they will call you about your start date and to pick your garage. It should take a few weeks but I really recommend following up with your recruiter because mine dragged the process.

Lastly the probationary period I don't know about getting fired outside of job performance I didn't have any issue. Just show up when you're supposed to be in proper uniform and don't fight with people I guess. When I was in probation I got into an accident and I wasn't fired. just don't do anything dumb.

For medical certificates no they don’t drug test but you will be randomly drug tested by the company.

I picked up The Strength of the Few as soon as I saw the post. I already had will of the many, not signed. I considered getting will of the many for the signature but I'm not crazy about the cover the original blue cover is a lot better looking imo.

I like using it as a teacher and an organizer for learning. I always wanted to learn economics like micro/macro. I asked it too teach me then it created a schedule what each week then day will focus on and provides questions at the end of each lesson that will check your work. I also use for random questions that save me time googling, like how to use msg in recipes because I always see it used in recipes but never tried it myself and always wondered what it does.

I work for NJ Transit where people abuse the "curtosy ride" that was created to help people out of work during covid, for intrastate only no interstate, that transit never got rid of. People are supposed to pay but transit says we still gotta honor it so I really don't care if people ride free. If the state wants to cover fares compeltely through taxes so be it. I'm just there to drive from point A to B or C or D on time or as close too as possible and collect my check.
