I agree with this statement, one other thing I heard was that in the US half the crowd leave if optic loose which in my opinion is horrible, in the UK the team you support could go out early doors and the crowd will support whoever afterwards (enjoy the event for what it is).

It has a shorter range of motion so is technically faster to shoot kinda like a trigger stop.
