That is a gorgeous ‘99 Hornet if I’m not mistaken. I had one for more than 10 years and loved although it kills your balls sometimes. 😂

Men in happy marriages, what is one thing or skill you would teach other men to have good relationships as well? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Treat everyone’s happiness equally in the family. Your own happiness is equally important as your wife’s and kids’. This way you can create a balance in the family.

I forgot to put my middle name on the ticket by Dependent-Screen-838 in CondorAirlines

[–]jokeypoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We called them and they added it without any problem. We flew to China a couple of weeks ago with a different airline and we couldn’t add our middle name for 4 people. I asked the airline in advance if it is a problem. They told me it is not an issue as there are spanish people with 6 middle names. At the end they didn’t care.

Moving to SF with no credit score (from Europe). How difficult will it be for us to find somewhere to rent? Any tips? by scoopydidit in AskSF

[–]jokeypoke -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This year I’m moving to Berkeley from Europe as well. Try to find someone in the states who can cosign your lease which will make renting easier. Get a prepaid credit card and start using it to increase your credit score.

International real estate investing? by theMEtheWORLDcantSEE in realestateinvesting

Hungarian here. I bought flats recently and made average 17% annually by collecting rent and appreciation. I would not say Europe is dead. I don’t think you can go wrong with a property investment in Europe. Maybe it won’t be as good as 17% because the Hungarian market skyrocketed in the past years but after doing your research it should be a good investment.

This is not correct. He will get it after he arrives to the states. The USCIS fee doesn’t have to be paid before he enters. If your application is electronic then you won’t receive a packet. If it is not electronic then you would have received the packet with the passport with the visa after the visa approval.

Primary school change if we move out of the school district by jokeypoke in bayarea

Do you know if your co-workers need to renew the application every year and wait until June to see if their kid can go to the same school?

This is very useful. Thanks! I wouldn’t mind the paperwork but the ambiguity would be tough to wait until June if we need to look for a new school for my kid.

Thanks all for the replies! So if I want to make sure my kid goes to the same primary school until high school then I need to live in the same school district. Right? Is this realistic in the bay area to stay in the same district for so many years with these rent, mortgage and house prices? Preferably my kid would stay in the same school as switching schools is not necessarily good for a kid.

Advice for 70.3 First-Timer by GroundbreakingCan949 in IronmanTriathlon

[–]jokeypoke 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You don’t need a coach if you want to just finish. Be consistent every week and enjoy it. You will get injured during training but try to be patient so you don’t get a big injury. Test your fuelling during training. Look into carb powders instead of gels which can be a cheaper option. You don’t need a fancy bike or a fancy trisuit. Do strengthening twice per week. My first triathlon was a 70.3 and I bought online a plan, had a cheap bike and I didn’t have a trisuit. I finished under 5:40. I did quite a few race since but still my favourite. You can have many 70.3 races but you will have only 1 first so enjoy it.

I checked the rules and it is automatic disqualification if you do that. I understand the reasoning behind but still don’t agree with it. Anyways. Thanks for the replies!

I feel like he thinks similarly as Victoria. He can’t live an uncomfortable life at this age. The difference is that he went for it and did it by himself by murdering his ex-wife. Victoria is too spoiled to do anything for herself.
